This place is amazing! Terry, the host, is so friendly and she created the most stunning guesthouse. It's cosy and stylish. Easygoing and comfortable. If you go here (which you should when going to Barrydale!) book at least 2 nights or longer. Barrydale is an interesting little down with many hidden gems to discover and Terry created a place where you at the same time can slow down and enjoy The Karoo.

We loved our short stay at this wonderful hotel. Sarah was a gracious and helpful host and the hotel is in a great location. It's on the main strip but very quiet. Our room was large and the bed was very comfortable - there isn't air conditioning but a good fan in the room made the heat bearable. A good shower too. We enjoyed hanging out in the restaurant over breakfast which was very tasty. Plenty of hot and cold breakfast options and excellent coffee . The staff were so friendly and very helpful. We loved that we could walk to all the restaurants and attractions in the area . And at the end of a long hot day, we could enjoy a dip in the pool and a beverage in the comfortable pool area. I highly recommend the coffee milkshake - best I've ever had!! We just wish we'd had more time here - I highly recommend this lovely property .

The hosts were extremely kind and accommodated all of our requests. Can't speak highly enough of them. The orchid is simply breathtaking. Such a pleasure waking up at such a beautiful place.

Wonderful location. My absolute favourite on the garden route. Amazing sunrise and environment. The cottage was very tidy and exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly kind and patient: we arrived late and they still made us dinner. They also provided us with a breakfast package as we left very early in the morning. Very very satisfied!

Beautiful old farm house in Barrydale with history. Oom Sakkie, the owner is a wonderful host. We were warmly welcomed by Oom Sakkie, who gave us a tour of the house and the rest of the property. He also gave us some of his famous “skilpaadjies” which were delicious. Would highly recommend anyone who wants to take a break to stay over at Goedgeloof Farm Stay. Beautiful house / scenery and warm welcome from host.
