Gem in Cape Town Our stay at The Vineyard Hotel was almost accidental—just a single night stopover in Cape Town before heading deeper into the Western Cape. Yet what we discovered felt nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beauty of the setting. Nestled in the heart of a bustling city, the hotel felt like a secret sanctuary—an oasis where the gardens seemed like a direct slice out of the Garden of Eden itself. The lush greenery, perfectly tended grounds, and tranquil atmosphere transported us to another world. The facilities were absolutely world-class, and the staff went above and beyond in every possible way. We wanted for nothing. Every detail was handled with seamless care and warmth, leaving us feeling both spoiled and at home. The food was exquisite—among the finest we’ve ever tasted in all our international travels. Each dish was crafted with a depth of flavor and artistry that elevated the dining experience to something unforgettable. Although our stay was brief—just one night—the impression it left on us will last far longer. We are already dreaming of our return, when we can take our time to savor this incredible place again. The Vineyard is truly a gem of Cape Town, and we cannot wait to return.

Beautiful old home that is not a well appointed boutique hotel in excellent surroundings. The staff were exceedingly helpful, thoughtful and friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent. Breakfast was perfect too.

Very lovely place to stay. Need a car to get around but some really lovely places close by. Room was great (and got an upgrade), log burners are a nice touch and needed in the winter months we found.

The Meyerhof was a lovely place. The beautiful estate with pool and chill out area made it possible to really relax for a moment and to calm down. The Host was always reachable within minutes and gave the place a real charm with his personality. Close to spontaneously go downtown CapeTown. For chilling or remote work I'll certainly come back. Great apartment with stunning views, spacious, light, clean and nicely decorated. Overall just such a good vibe! Comfy bed - really enjoyed the heating blanket on the cold and rainy days. Well-equipped kitchen and very lovely host(s). Great location, easy walk to the beach and restaurants. We will for sure be back some day to enjoy more of these sunsets!
