It was immaculately clean, well located for Providencia and Las Condes, very well equipped and as a female solo traveler I felt extremely safe. The staff at reception were brilliant especially as I don’t speak Spanish. They were all helpful and very kind throughout my stay. The Place truly is ‘the place’ to stay in when visiting Santiago.

This my fifth time at the hotel, although it has gone through a name/owner change. The great staff is one aspect, and the location. Great parking for my rented car included.

The service and housekeeping was on point as you would expect from a Mandarin Oriental, bringing attention to every detail. The pool area transports you to a resort atmosphere, forgetting you are in the middle of the city. The restaurant Matsuri was phenomenal, we ate there on multiple occasion because we wanted to explore all that the menu could offer. A short ballet rendition of the Nutcracker was organized in the lobby around Christmas time which lifted everyone's spirit. Will come back whenever visiting Santiago.

The location was great for exploring the city on foot, everything needed nearby, like metro station, market etc. The host very friendly and helpful.
