Opening at 0700hrs this makes it ideal to miss any children in the pool areas and to keep your visit to the facilities calm and peaceful. The dressing rooms were plentiful and well laid out. There are plentiful hiking options around the resort, and quiet areas near the pools where one can read in peace in the afternoon. The food was very good. The breakfast was exceptional, with numerous options and plenty of beautiful spaces to view the surrounding grounds. Dinners offered good seasonal and local specialties. All staff we encountered were friendly and very professional. We did not use the cosmetic services in the beauty clinic, but I did have an excellent Thai massage with a brilliant masseuse associated with the resort (ask about this before arriving).

The location is amazing. Every day the view from our balcony looked more beautiful. We were lucky to have stayed a week in November when it was bright sunshine so we were able to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Cycling is so easy as the hotel really is in the middle of the forest but glad we had e-bikes as steep slopes all around. The bridge directly into the forest was an instant immersion into to Schwarzwald. We also took advantage of the wellness program and did qi-jong in the fresh air and reminded ourselves to slow down and breathe! The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Big shout out to our waitress Anna too.

The interior design was really chic and modern, and the apartment was bright, spacious and very comfortable. The bedsheets and towels smelled so fresh!! The kitchen was well equipped and even had spices, seasoning etc. Having a washer dryer was a huge plus for us. The Szasz family was really friendly.
