Hosts also speak english. What else? Our room was great, breakfast was fabulous, WiFi excellent, really appreciated the secure off-street parking. Loved it here, wish we could have stayed longer!

This is a beautiful home with high bamboo ceilings, with comfortable beds, and in a very safe and quiet gated community with an excellent lap pool. The house has more amenities than many other properties: hammocks, a good array of kitchenware, a bbq (didn’t use it though), a cooler, outdoor furniture, good lighting, good AC, hot showers, enough drinking water to get through a night at least. One of the best things is that it backs onto undeveloped land. The birds and occasional monkeys calling! A beautiful way to wake up each day. We downloaded the Merlin app and used it to identify birds — the variety is remarkable. We even heard a rare cuckoo. Since the house is at the back of the community, you get plenty of quiet. You can hear the ocean faintly from the house. It’s about 1/4 mile to the community guarded gate; and only a 2 minute walk to two pools, one of which is long enough to do good laps. It’s closed and cleaned every Thursday I believe. The guards at the entrance are friendly and helpful. Ask them for the WhatsApps of the taxis and the water delivery. Walking to the beach in town is about 3/4 mile. At least one towel per person is provided — but bring more for the beach. Extra sheets and pillows are provided.
