Complimentary on-site parking is available, and the hotel is just a 10-minute walk from St Helier town centre. There are lots of positive things to say about this hotel! For me the stand out thing through was the kindness, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff (I'm sorry not to remember everyone's names, but huge thanks to the lovely Ronojoy and Charlotte, the restaurant, bar and breakfast staff). I was with my elderly parents both of whom have a disability and the staff really went above and beyond to help and be kind, I am more grateful than I can say. The staff were truly outstanding and it made our holiday. Other big positives were: the convenience of the bar restaurant, and the food was really excellent both there and at breakfast, everything was delicious and there was a great range of options; our rooms all had wonderful sea views of the bay and Elizabeth castle; my parents used the spa and loved it; rooms had lots of storage space, nice toiletries in the bathrooms and comfy beds.

Boasting a bar, the apartment is close to several noted attractions, around 1.5 km from Grand Rocques Beach, 1.6 km from Port Soif Beach and 1.6 km from The Royal Guernsey Golf Club. The apartment also offers facilities for disabled guests. Lovely spacious space, big heated bathroom. Lovely surroundings, it was so great having all the hotel facilities at our disposal. The pool was lovely and warm, and sunny till late in the evening, perfect for sitting around having a drink and a swim after a day of sightseeing.

Large, spacious, private garden, friendly staff, free use of heated swimming pool, fantastic views, clean, well cared for. Excellent location off the main drag. Quiet at night.

The most comfortable beds we have ever slept in whilst away, the linen was pure cotton white, crisp clean and so comfortable. The apartment was spotless, the towels are soft. We didn’t use the oven but it was spotlessly clean. Everything was perfect and very comfortable.

Situated in the quiet, green valley of St Martin, La Barbarie Hotel by Eight Continents overlooks Saints Bay. With a swimming pool, restaurant and stylish rooms, there is also free parking and free Wi-Fi.

There is also a heated outdoor swimming pool, a large sun terrace and pretty flower gardens. Excellent location and the food and service were too. The ladies at the front desk were lovely and very kind and helpful which means everything to us. More than facilities etc. The location was superb as it was both near the walking trails and not far from airport and St Peter's Port.
