There is also a 20-metre swimming pool and fitness centre. This hotel was absolutely amazing. It was an absolute experience to stay here. We got one of the rooms with a view of the old course which was very special. We All the staff in every area of the hotel were so friendly and helpful. The concierge staff were always interested in what you were doing and how they could help you and all the restaurant staff were lovely too. When you stay there you have to have dinner at “Jigger Inn” it is the coolest little pub and is one of the restaurants at the hotel. Make sure you book ahead though because it’s popular. Bart and Elsa looked after us so well when we went there. They are so friendly and welcoming and made our night so much fun we went back the next night. The food was really good too. We just had the best time in St Andrew’s staying at The Old Course Hotel and I would do yourself a favour and stay there if you want something special from start to finish.

The room was comfortable and I enjoyed the kettle with coffee/tea options in the room. The bathroom was modern and we felt very comfortable there. Had some great conversations with the staff too!

The Balgeddie House Hotel looks out over its own large gardens and the Fife countryside. It was built in 1923 and has now been extended and refurbished. The property was beautiful, very well maintained. Our room was clean, comfortable and large.. my kids loved that there was a bathtub in the room and a pool they could use.. it’s always a plus when tea, coffee and biscuits are provided too.. a very positive experience overall and the receptionist was kind and informative, and the gentleman server was very nice as well..

The 3-star holiday park has sea views and is 13 km from St Andrews Bay. Outdoor seating allows guests to sit outside and enjoy the good weather. We stayed in a deluxe beach hut for a weekend and loved it. Fantastic location by the sea and a great base for exploring surrounding areas in the coast. Accommodation was larger than expected, modern and clean with all necessary facilities. We used the hot tub both nights and were lucky enough to spot lots of shooting stars. Bring extra wood and firelighters to use the hot tub but there amenities available in the on-site shop if needed. We will definitely be back ⭐️

Absolutely stunning hotel on a marvellous estate, surrounded by spectacular nature and gorgeous views. Fantastic gym and pool facilities with a jacuzzi. Staff always went above and beyond with their help. Great breakfast. The restaurant is very stylish and the bar is very cosy. The whole place is very peaceful and relaxing. I enjoyed my long stay at the hotel very much. Would happily stay again. Thanks very much.
