However, I was impressed by the level of thought that went into every facet of our stay, from the room's views to the design touches, furnishings, and standard amenities. The food in general was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was especially exceptional. There was a variety of Japanese, Chinese, and Continental/American style items, but the quality of the local Hokkaido produce and ingredients put it over the top. We ate at two restaurants, an Italian and Japanese grill, as well as the Lobby dining area. All three were fantastic. Their pool and Onsen were modern, spotless, and had plenty of towels (a pet peeve). The service was remarkable as well. Any issues we encountered were dealt with immediately and without any pushback.

If you’re looking for family and kid-friendly in Sapporo this is your place! The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and really provided five star level service, helping with bags, arranging taxis and tours, providing forgotten items, etc. Navigating their website without Japanese was a little challenging so just to recap some of their amenities and services: - indoor and outdoor waterpark free with stay - spa and traditional onsen free with stay - 2 restaurants and a bakery in winter, 4 restaurants in summer - Designated play areas in restaurants - Outdoor playground in summer - In winter they make a sledding slide/hill and some snowmen and smaller sculptures out of snow on the main lawn - Video game arcade - Free shuttle bus service to and from the train station running every 2 hours - Free lending library with children’s books (in Japanese) and toys - Swimsuit and pool float rental for <$10 - Free travel stroller and child snow gear rental - Traditional baumkuchen pastries are made on site and they have these cool window panels along the way to the pool and spa building where kids can look in and see how the pastries are made (mine, a science and cooking nerd was mesmerized) Some of the rooms could use a refresh, but the same could be said of basically every chain hotel and this one has so much more to offer and at a far better price point. Really grateful for the phenomenal service and hope we’re able to come back in summer someday.

The onsen is amazing and the clothing the hotel provides to walk around is extremely convenient. We went on a skiing vacation and drove to Rusutsu every day (about 30 min drive) and didn't expect to enjoy the hotel as much as we did. In the end, it was as memorable as the skiing.

Outdoor pool and indoor playground
There are great varieties of mineral springs and the slide in the kids' swimming pool is fun even for adults. The staff are friendly and approachable. The breakfast buffet is fantastic. The hotel is very near to the other attraction areas like the Hell Valley and Bear Park.
Good location, nice onsen. The swimming pool with water slide is a big hit for kids. Recommend to families with children
Wish I stayed at this hotel for at least 2 nights, it was amazing! - Onsen: huge bath area with lots of different pools indoor and outdoor (with healing effects) - Dinner: Amazing Kaiseki dinner in a private room in the dining area, wonderful food - Breakfast: Huge buffet selection - Archade/shop in the hotel for entertainment - Location: Right next to Jigokudani Valley and walking distance to the bus stop in town centre
Location is good. Facing Lake Toya. Able to see the fireworks in the evening at 8:45pm. Onsen is available in the hotel with indoor and outdoor pool facing the lake.
Good location, within walking distant to hell valley. Restaurants, onsen and swimming pool in the hotel. Just outside the hotel there are nice restaurants too. Highly recommend for family with kids.
The onsen was excellent, both the indoor and outdoor pools. The location was perfect, right next to the pedestrian walking street, near the underground shopping, and seven blocks for teh fish market and excellent traditional sushi restaurants. The design of the rooms was efficient. The bed was good as was the shower. The staff was VERY helpful. The car parking mechanism worked fine.
It has an onsen with indoor and covered outdoor onsen pools and a sauna/ cold pool.
The hotel has an amazingly large onsen area, that is two floors and with an outdoor area that looks at the main tourist attraction - Hell's Valley. It is literally right behind the hotel, and this would be the closest hotel to the attraction. There must be at least 20 onsens you can try within their facility. There is then another floor below all this that houses a nice swimming pool with water slides. The kids had a lot of fun here and we would love to visit again. The buffet options for dinner and breakfast were also very comprehensive.
Great location right next to the famous Noboribetsu Jigokudani, a short stroll to the bus station and plenty of local shops and restaurants on the street outside the hotel. A great selection of food to choose from in the buffer restaurant. The absolute highlight of the hotel is their hot spring pools, you have lots of indoor pools plus 2 outdoor pools, there is also a kids friendly shallow swimming pool and water slide!
