Rooms were well appointed, and staff were very helpful. Dinner was good.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and while our experience was overall very positive, we wanted to share some detailed feedback to help recognize the key contributors to your property’s success and suggest areas for improvement. First and foremost, our dining experiences were absolutely exceptional. From breakfast to lunch and dinner at their private Teppanyaki room, every meal was a masterpiece, complemented by attentive and genuinely warm service. The restaurant staff set a gold standard, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Their professionalism and friendliness truly stood out, and we cannot praise them highly enough. Additionally, the bell service team, especially the three gentlemen from Nepal, were nothing short of outstanding. They exemplify what it means to deliver world-class hospitality. Their kindness, efficiency, and readiness to assist made us feel genuinely cared for. In fact, their impeccable service often compensated for areas where the front office fell short. Several fellow guests we spoke to while waiting for the shuttle bus also shared similar high praise for these individuals. They are truly the business card of this hotel and embody the very best of the JW Marriott brand.

Super big rooms (all the premises, actually) with one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in Japan, everything is spotlessly clean, the public bath is beautiful, the staff lovely, and there's a free shuttle bus to both JR and Kintetsu Nara stations. And all of this princess treatment for an unbelievably low price.

Located within 11 km of Nara Station and 24 km of Iwafune Shrine, Nara Plaza Hotel provides rooms in Tenri. This 3-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and free shuttle service. There is a children's playground and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Breakfast was including in our meal the food was amazing, had most things and so fresh! We loved all the facilities onsens, indoor pools and communal facilities. Would recommend it to anyone with children/families wanting to stay somewhere with pools and onsens. The staff at the facility were great and hopeful when ever we had any enquires.
