Every detail was thought through with care, and it showed. Truly unforgettable, and we’re already dreaming of coming back.

We stayed at Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa for 8 nights and were 100% satisfied. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety - spicy local dishes, continental options, lots of seafood, fruits, and yummy desserts. It was easy to find kid-friendly meals, and the restaurant staff were top-notch. Our cottage was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable, with great soundproofing from top neighbors. Housekeeping was fast and flawless special thanks to Thasitha and Viraj for keeping everything spotless. The resort was peaceful and not too crowded. The pool was clean and well-designed for both kids and adults, with a nice bar nearby. The beach was beautiful and perfect for swimming in June. We also loved the kids’ animation. Richie, the animator, kept kids entertained with fun activities, giving parents time to relax. He was friendly, creative, and great to chat with. This was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in - clean, cozy, family-friendly, and well-managed. Highly recommended!

We were quite concerned on the way there because the trip was through some interesting but desolate terrain. What a great surprise. The property is beautiful and the staff and service were superb. The restaurant staff were attentive and made the morning experience even better. Another thing I loved was how helpful the staff were. They were always available to provide recommendations, assist with requests, or simply greet you with a smile. Their professionalism and genuine care for guests really stood out. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Excellent service, delicious breakfast, a peaceful environment, and a beautifully clean property. Very clean and new-feeling location, felt private and quiet. The bedroom was extremely clean, the bed was big and very comfortable, bedding was great, the air conditioning was excellent, shower was great. Walking distance from Kalkudah beach (not for swimming), very quick tuktuk to Pasikuda beach. Excellent food and juices, excellent staff. Best pool in Sri Lanka, swimming under the stars was magical. Many fruits, vegetables, and spices grown on the property. Amazing, caring staff.

Just perfect🤩 there are a few restaurants in the neighborhood of the hotel, but rather tuk tuk is needed to get there.
