We enjoyed our stay in many ways. The accommodation is well equipped and in good shape. The quality of furniture and decoration is great. The ambient lights are a highlight and the view from the balcony too. The small kitchen is well equipped. We did not miss anything. The owner is very helpful. We had some questions and he always helped us out. The pool was out of service during our stay but we got informed on time and received some cash back for the inconvenience. Now the pool is renovated for you. We highly recommend you a rental car if you want to visit places outside the village. The public busses are extreme unreliable. Locals confirmed us that you never can count on the busses. If you do not have a rental car you have to accept to walk up a short but straight hill to the accommodation. Everything in the village is in walkable distance.

The house, the room and the terrace were beautifully furnished. The family and their dog were very lovely and we were glad that we could easily communicate in English. It was a familiar atmosphere and we felt very welcome. From the terrace where you have breakfast, you have a wonderful view of the bay of Le Robert. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!

VILLA DIAMANTILLES - MAISON D'HOTES ligger i Le Diamant, 8 minutters gang fra Plage de la Grande Anse du Diamant Strand, og har en udendørs swimmingpool, en have og et fælles opholdsområde samt gratis... The location was fantastic, up a short steep climb to give a view of the bay, particularly good view from the lovely pool. Fairy lights lit up the pool area at night and there were chairs for sitting outside. Our room was charming with enough space around the double bed and a good sized bathroom with a very big shower. We opted for a home-made dinner one evening which was absolutely delicious (guacamole appetiser, soup, chicken Columbo and chocolate and lime mousse ) and with good company from fellow guests. Breakfasts were also delicious and thoughtfully prepared and included fresh fruit, fresh mixed juice, pastries, bread and a choice of egg. On reflection we think that the food here was better than most of the food we had in restaurants in both Martinique and Guadeloupe. Tea and coffee was available throughout the day and a fridge supplied in the common area for guests to keep food in if needed (understandably no food allowed in the rooms). Stephanie was a delightful host and managed to combine her family (in a separate part of the house), her 2 cats and her guests with a wonderful balance. Stephanie also speaks very good English.

Hotel Pelican ligger ved stranden i Schœlcher, 2 minutters gang fra Plage De l'anse Madame Strand. Dette hotel med 3 stjerner har en concierge-tjeneste og bagageopbevaring. Clean, good stuff, close to the beach. But also to the cemetery)

The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They greeted us with home cooked plates of food and some basic groceries because we arrived Sunday evening (too late to buy anything).

Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, yet not far from Fort-de-France, this chambre d'hote was wonderful. The bedroom was quite comfortable, and I appreciated the air-conditioning on hot days. Fabrice is a good cook, so I asked him to cook several dinners for me. It was great to come back to a home-cooked meal after a busy day of exploring. I also appreciated having access to his swimming pool, and a large deck where I could practice yoga in the morning. I also enjoyed conversing with the other guests who shared breakfast and dinner with me. I spent a full week at Havre de paix and felt quite "chez moi" by the end.

We've traveled all over the world and have stayed at some amazing places. This was honestly one of the most stunning places ever! We stayed in the apartment in the back directly facing the ocean (not overlooking the swimming pool). The view is breathtaking. The ocean spreads out in front of you from one end to the other. The grounds are enormous - you can walk down a long way and it's just nature, trees, flowers. No other houses to obstruct the view, all the way to the ocean. The apartment is perfectly designed for the views and for comfort, with tasteful minimalist decor. It's better in reality than their photos. It's all glass facing the ocean, and the doors all slide open. The french style shutters are made of glass slats that open up - these are nice in the evening so you can get fresh air if you want without insects flying in. Although surprisingly there were hardly any bugs (not sure if that was due to the height). The bathroom is huge and and spa style with a rain shower. The bed is comfortable, AC works perfectly. There's an inner living room with the kitchen. Also outdoor seating area and a dining area on the deck. The hammock was perfect. The jacuzzi hot tub was big, with jets, lighting and view. It was great to relax in it at the end of a day of sightseeing or after swimming in the pool. The lighting in the apartment, bathroom and desk are also nice. The swimming pool is heated, with also amazing views. Do be aware that the area is mountainous with narrow winding roads, so we drove back before sunset. There's no food on the property and no stores or restaurants close by, so do plan ahead and get supplies/food before getting to the house. There are birds that visit which we also loved. Watching the sunrise and sunset, and the weather changing far in the distance over the ocean was especially spectacular. This was literally the perfect place, I didn't even want to leave to sightsee once we arrived.

The greatest vacay ever, everything was so nice - location, scenery, breakfast, the stay was just amazing. I would definitely return and warmly recommend.
