Very kind and attentive team in all service areas, beautiful setting right on the lake with pool and spacious lounge areas; very safe place, nice bar with good drinks and always cold beer!! :-) The less expensive accommodations in the backside accross the road also offer everything you need for a basic and comfortable stay including laundry service;

Arrived and decided to upgrade to a fancier room. Family who run the business very accommodating of this. Was able to have a tab open as I had usd $ so very favourable exchange in the recent deval. Coffee plunger 2 cup was insulated and perfect, breakfast was generous and the poolside space is very good. The bathroom I had was a mixer shower with a fixed to wall but adjustable spray pattern. Best shower I have had in Malawi. No messing around with quarter turns to get the solar and mains water mixed. 🚿

The view is simply perfect from the hotel. Sunset over Lake Malawi is the stuff of dreams. Terrace and pool could be sat at all day. Reading and lazing about and cheap drinks on tap. Evening meals were good value home cooking. Breakfast was superb with choices of coffee, toast, and a selection of omelettes and full English cooked. They also arranged good value transfers from Zomba
