The decor and the view of the water is fabulous. There’s a bus stop nearby that goes to the central station every 20min, or you can walk or rent a bike.

The staff were very friendly, the room was cute and very comfortable. The restaurant is also great, with plenty of fine dining options. And if you feel like something different, there's another restaurant 5 minutes away. We cycled along the dunes using the rental bikes. I'd recommend the electric ones if the wind is strong. They're powerful enough to ride comfortably through the insane Texel winds. We also borrowed binoculars from the front desk to check out the birds. Very nice. Would come back if we want to visit Texel again!

Overlooking the Amstel River, each room has a wooden floor and light coloured walls. The spot exceeded my Father and I's expectations. Beautifully docked with stunning views of the canal, the cute ducks, and the Amsterdam skyline, it was truly a delight to sit outside on the dock and enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine! The dry sauna was an extra bonus - the host was kind enough to bring us some wood so that we can get it started! Beds were comfortable, small - but fine considering the size of the unit. Washroom was adequately equipped with soap.
