Perfect location for the harbour, ferries, shopping and restaurants in downtown. Parking space underground was very convenient for us and though there was a charge this was lower than most hotels charge in the area at $32 a night. Room very comfortable and clean. Loved the pool! Will be staying again.

WiFi access is available. The location was excellent as everything in the city center were in walking distance. The views were great, the room was clean and quite big. The service was excellent as we got early check-in without extra charge when our flight arrived very early in the day.

Its clean, great location etc but absolutely stands out because of the amazing staff. They helped us a lot by arranging an early check in and were so nice with the baby and helping with the baggage. Would go here again when staying in auckland.

Bed was comfortable, pillows amazing, shower was huge. Big towels that actually wrap around your body for bigger people. Lovely handwash, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Lots of eating places a short walk away. Nothing negative to say about this hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Just 50 metres walk from the weekly village markets, guests enjoy a swimming pool, BBQ facilities and a children’s playground at Matakana Motel. All accommodation offers a satellite flat-screen TV, a microwave and a fridge. Booked this last minute and so glad we did. Great location and pool was an added bonus which we used both days . Staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Easy access to the village . Would love to stay again if we return to NZ
