We’re not sure if it was from our room or from the room above us, but they were aware of it, and it will be looked after I would imagine.

Located in Las Lajas, Show Pony Ranchero Resort - Boutique Beach Hotel offers water sports facilities, garden and terrace. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar, as well as on-site dining. Both free WiFi and private parking are accessible at this property. Honestly everything was exceptional. The location is beautiful, the beach is very close and you can walk for an hour and still not reach the end of it. The resort itself is very thematized and you can see that a lot of care went into the design. One of the best places I have visited. The staff is very kind and always helpful. Jose was especially kind to suggest programs for each day we spent there. The cocktails are a must try!

The cottages are fitted with a flat-screen TV and DVD player. All units feature a seating area where you can relax. Certain rooms include views of the mountains, pool and the Caldera river which runs through the entire property. All have a private bathroom with a shower with hot water and certain toiletries provided, and also kitchen with gas grill. We stayed early April, it was almost the rainy season, the weather was outstanding. Jose texted us continuosly to coordinate our check in. He greeted us upon arrival, showed us to our tree house. it was dark so we didn't know what to expect. It was a super unique experience, the amenities were super nice, the bed was very clean and comfy. Jose was an outstanding host. He made himself available for anything, super helpful. They thought of every detail, like flowers on the table, the fridge was filled with drinks and snacks at reasonable prices. the pool areas was super nice, the river is across from the tree house, so you hear it always. I would stay there many times again, we actually changed our plans we had to go hiking elsewhere to just stay and enjoy the place. it had bridges over the river, a beautiful trail around the property in the rainforest. it would be great for kids.
