Its worth it. There is harldy anything bad we can mention.

Everything and I really mean everything was perfect. We were even picked up by our host from the airport and he took us back with all our luggage. Elmer and his family are very friendly, helpful and we felt a 100% safe and welcome all the time. The house is very clean, comfortable and we loved the hammocks and the pool. The best thing of all, what we discovered later on, are the tours he organises. Very IMPORTANT!!!!! Book the tours at his place since they are perfectly organised and better than similar once in get your guide. We did two tours and we got professional guides who really knew what they do!!!! We regret not having known that from the beginning. Communication was always very smooth and easy. We will definitely return!!

The cabins and shelters and hotsprings are rustic and relaxing. The view from the lodge across the river is idyllic. The host picked us up from Shintuya and made us breakfast and lunch for a small cost.

Corto Maltes Amazonía ligger i Puerto Maldonado i regionen Madre de Dios og tilbyder indkvartering i bungalows dybt inde i amazon-junglen. Der tilbydes gratis lufthavnstransport. Very nice lodge, in the middle of the jungle. Many birds and small wild life in the lodge. Expeditions organised by the lodge are various and with excellent guide (Moses). The swimming pool is a plus. Cook is great. Bungalows are very confortable. We highly recommend !

My experience was excellent. The staff were always very kind and helpful, and the pool and facilities were very well maintained and spotlessly clean. In addition, their cocktails and food were truly delicious.

Clean, comfortable, air conditioned room, quiet, warm water for shower!, table & chair in room, plenty of storage in room, good free breakfast. Very hospitable and helpful and friendly. My room was cleaned and linens changed and toilet paper roll renewed daily. 30 minute walk to the Main Square, so I sometimes got a motorbike taxi for 5 Sols or so.
