Tambo del Inka, a luxury establishment located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is the only hotel in Urubamba that has a private train station with connections to Machu Picchu. This was our second time to go to this hotel. I like so much the rooms, the huge common spaces and the wellness. The coffee machine in the room is a real extra. We traveld to Machu Picchu with the train (from the hotel’s train station) - it’s very comfy.

Aranwa is set on a sumptuous 17th century hacienda on the road to Machu Pichu. Luxurious facilities include a swimming pool, a spa featuring alternative medicine treatments and a museum. The grounds were beautiful, the room was wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. It is one of the nicest hotel experiences we’ve had!

Explora in the Sacred Valley of the Incas was designed as a headquarter from where to explore a remote and great destination: Cusco, Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Everything! Amazing guides, staff. Cocktails are amazing and food is pretty good as well! We’ve rented the bikes and gone around town and also visited Machu Picchu for a day.
