We cannot offer enough praise for The Rebello. From the first moment, we received the warmest welcome and the utmost assistance at the front desk. We were helped to our room — an unexpected upgrade to a commanding river view — and introduced to all amenities which encompassed an all-inclusive mini-bar. We paid a visit to the restaurant/bar and were assisted by the most extraordinary Claudia for whom nothing was too much trouble. Our meals were prepared exactly to our liking due to Claudia’s willingness to communicate with the kitchen and the kitchen’s willingness to accommodate us. The next day, breakfast was similarly pleasing. We stayed only one night but that was enough to make us wish we had arrived much earlier. The hotel is a short walk to the dock for Uniworld and other river boats. Staff even offered to take our bags there for us! We love you guys at the Rebello!

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool and views of river, 108MM House is a recently renovated apartment set in Porto, 2.1 km from Palacio da Bolsa. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The apartment has family rooms. All of the staff were fantastic. The apartment was very well appointed, the bed and sheets were comfortable. Great quiet location with easy walk to nearby grocery store, restaurants and bus/tram stop. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful 5-day stay in Smiling Places. The hosts, Elisabete and Fernando, are charming (completely mad, but in a nice way). They have worked so hard to make their house confortable for their guests. If anything is not to your liking, tell them and they will do their best to put it right. Breakfast was delicious and copious. There are several good restaurants nearby.
