Ideaal om de hoge Tatra verder te ontdekken met de auto (parkeerkosten tot 10€ in strbske Pleso) of per trein (1€ per rit). Het hotel is nieuw. Wij sliepen in de chalet-bijbouw die net was geopend. Het appartement biedt alle nodige comfort, wordt dagelijks gepoetst en heeft heerlijke bedden. Het eten is heel lekker. Buffet is beperkt, maar supervers en op de juiste temperatuur. Het zwembad is ideaal voor de kinderen terwijl je als ouder in de jacuzzi ontspant. Kortom, geweldig! Wij komen nog eens terug.

APLEND Wellness Hotel Borovica heeft 4 sterren en ligt in het hart van de hoge Tatra-bergen in Štrbské Pleso, het hoogst gelegen dorp van het Tatra-gebergte. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Een fijn hotel om tot rust te komen na een lange hike door de bergen.

The hotel is renovated and all the facilities and fittings are top notch. Location is great, easy to walk out to the lake or start more challenging hikes. The breakfast was very varied and tasty. The 30 Euro buffet dinner was great value. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from our window. I didn’t try the other facilities like the pool or sauna etc., but we would love to come back again.

This elegant first-class hotel in Stará Lesná combines a high level of comfort with a beautiful location in the mountains of the High Tatras. The staff were friendly and the best part of the stay was the outstanding spa! 10 stars for the spa!! I will definitely visit again.

LUXURY Apartments Hrebienok C411 bevindt zich op 16 km van Štrbské Pleso, en biedt accommodatie in Starý Smokovec met toegang tot een terras, een bar, en een geldautomaat. We chose this one for location primarily bcs we were visiting the Ice dome on Hrebienok. The apartment provided garage parking included so it was super easy to come and park. 4th floor, nice view and quiet. Picking up key cards at the bistro was super convenient and quick. Apartment was clean and nicely furnished.Kitchen was equipped sufficiently. Overall all good.

The whole venue has been quite a positive surprise. Not well known even to locals, the hotel is and the adjacent apartments are quite modern, classy, fancy, and cozy. We did rent one of the apartments. The facilities are nice, location is great, close to the local mountain train. Parking was comfortable indoors in the same building as the apartment. But there I really want to give special compliments was the elderly gentleman masseur in the wellness center. It has been a long time since I had such an excellent massage, with a super knowledgeable masseur. Bordering with a chiropractic therapy, he went above and beyond, was able to effortlessly spot my back issues and even discovered something that he correctly identified and was confirmed by a doctor later. Excellent service that added tremendously to the value of the hotel and I would go back just for that massage therapy again. Second special mention goes to one of the waiters in the hotel restaurant, tall young gentleman, Jakub was his name I think, once again, went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Spending only two days there, Arietes Marmont has instantly become a very comfortable home, and we will certainly be back soon.
