I booked Maison Fimela after travelling in Senegal for two weeks, wanting to end the trip by visiting the UNESCO listed Saloum Delta. I’m very glad I did. This was the best accommodation I stayed in, with the best food and hospitality of the entire trip. The place feels like an oasis for birdwatching, and I especially enjoyed meditating and listening to the birdsongs. Nature focused travellers will love it, and the Saloum Delta itself is not to be missed (although I saw more birds in the lagoon in front of the hotel than during my delta excursion) Chloé was very helpful in organising my excursions and arranging a taxi to the airport. I have no complaints at all and was very happy with my stay.

Er is een à la carte-ontbijt beschikbaar bij de bed & breakfast.... Estelle is amazing! She is a super gentle and interesting person and she helped us in any possible way organizing the trip etc. we had a great time, the place is beautiful, many birds and extremely well kept. Would fully recommend to stay there if you want to visit the area.

The rooms are spotless, with tasteful decor and thoughtful touches throughout. Everything is maintained to the highest standard, reflecting a clear passion for hospitality. Villa Kounzo also helps you make the most of your time—they recommend great daytime activities and are happy to order excellent takeaway meals from nearby restaurants if you're staying in for the evening. The on-site bar is another highlight, offering cold, reasonably priced drinks including soft drinks, beer, and wine—a perfect way to wind down after a day of exploring. Villa Kounzo is far more than just a place to stay—it’s a haven of comfort, great food, and genuine hospitality where you feel like home. I left feeling completely recharged and already planning my return. Highly recommended!

B & B Mariamacounda is gelegen in Toubakouta met uitzicht op het zwembad en heeft een restaurant, een excursiebalie, bar, tuin, buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en terras. The place looks absolutelly great, we just loved it.

I was lucky enough to stay at this beautiful beachfront villa, and I leave with a heart full of gratitude and emotion.
