It is a very small hotel and for their size they have amazing amenities. A nice little bar and sitting area. A small pool with lounge chairs. A roof terrace for the three rooms upstairs and another big roof terrace overlooking the town and ocean. The rooms are big. The bathroom is spacious (much better than most in Senegal). The seat on the toilet did not fit perfectly but if that is the only drawback...then you know it was good. Don't expect a quiet environment. It is in the middle of the village. You will hear the prayers loudly early morning and in the evening and on weekends, Friday to Sunday, you'll hear the 'lutte Sénégalaise', fight competitions with loud music till 2 or 3 pm. Single glazing (obviously) makes you hear it all. If you don't like noise outside, get a room outside the city centre or a european type hotel with soundproofing (if that exists...). I loved the place and had ear plugs. I liked that airconditioning is optional for 3000 CFA because I don't like to use it. There is a fridge and plenty of Nescafé and tea to drink. Nice decoration (chairs and cupboards). In all, an unexpectedly great experience because I stayed in quite some places much less worth their price.

We were very happy with our choice to stay here. The hotel has a nice pool and common area. The rooms are minimal but comfortable, offering just what you need for a simple, relaxing stay. We arrived very late at night, but check-in was smooth without any issues, which we really appreciated. The owner, Christophe, is very friendly and helped us organize a tour of the lake, which was a great experience. The overall vibe is laid-back, nothing fancy, but exactly what you want for a stay near Lac Rose. Great value for money, and we would definitely stay again!

The hotel is located very close to the lake. Great location for the value. They have a pool and it's very nice and relaxing to sit there. The hotel staff is very kind and helpful. They explained how to find a boat, the coast, and the duration of the trip. If you have questions, they can help! We arrived late around 10:30 pm and they were able to make us dinner. Which was very nice as it seemed many places were not open. Breakfast was nice - coffee, tea, juice fruit, bread, jam. Wifi was good in the reception and pool area. It did not reach to our room but that's okay for us. The shower water was great, it was able to be very hot. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I would stay here again, great value and wonderful hosts.
