The staff was extremely friendly. Graydon was very helpful. The food was great too. We were two families and enjoyed the peaceful place in the jungle. Like a little paradise. The safari and the boat trip was very nice. We saw a lot of animals.

The way that the location is run co-exists perfectly with Julius Nyerere National Park, and on top of that the facilities were perfect, food was tasty and the location is beautiful. The staff were also extremely helpful to the point where I can say they saved us! We had been let down by TAZARA train services so we’re going to be stranded, but the safari manager helped us to arrange a very reasonably priced private charter flight on only a few hours’ notice. We opted to take a game drive, and our guides were extremely experienced and knowledgeable. We were able to see species I’d only ever seen on TV or in movies and even a pride of lions with cubs (very rare to see in the daytime). Highly recommend the whole offering of this establishment.

Selous is incredible, there was elephants in our driveway. So, so many animals in the park, only a 15 minute drive from camp. Super safe with Maasai at the camp. Absolute bucket list. Food was incredible. Do not hesitate.
