Staff were wonderful and very flexible. We arrived by bus from Lusaka at about 10pm. I had prearranged dinner and when we arrived, a table was set for us and we were served some delicious hot food. The lodge arranged a tour of the national park and a sunset cruise on the Zambezi. They have fast wifi and solar backup for when the electricity goes out. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The chef was very happy to make customizations for me that I really appreciated. This property does the Western colonial style menu often featured at safari lodges - they do it well, but I am not a fan so much of this approach to menu design.

Pool area was lovely. Excellent dinner service and menu. We really enjoyed our meals and I really enjoyed the chicken and peanut stew with nshima. An excellent breakfast as well. What sets this property apart is the excellent communication and personal attention of the staff. Kennedy was a joy from the time of our reservation through to checkout. Naomi was wonderful as well. Whether it was bringing a blanket poolside on a cool morning when I was reading or helping to change a SIM card in my phone, she was so helpful.
