We had an awesome stay at the lodge! Everyone is super friendly and so helpful! They can organize and book many tours for you or just recommend things to do. The room we had was very clean and the food at the restaurant is great! The pool was refreshing! The lodge is directly next to the Mayan ruins Cahal Pech, which is definitely worth visiting! Highly recommended!!! You can see and feel that the lodge is maintained and led with love!

Everything! The staff was so attentive and lovely. The place is well cared for. Our room was damaged with the Sara storm and we were therefore upgraded for most of the nights to a 3 bedroom house with a shared swimming pool. It was just outstanding. The house was tastefully decorated, had everything you need, including loads of towels, the kitchen is well appointed, including a fountain with drinking water. We then moved back to a 2-bedroom apartment which is what we had originally booked, still with access to the pool. Still great kitchen, drinking water, all toiletries. Super clean. Housekeeping is done daily and the team is absolutely lovely. We were totally delighted. Breakfast is great and they offer a different special every day. The location is incredible, close everything but quiet and we used the free bikes to move around. We loved it so much that we extended our stay

The entertainment staff made you feel welcomed. The dining was excellent. Great food and service. We were impressed. Thanks to the staff in the Rose Hall Dining area especially Darren and Trudy Ann. Rooms were kept clean and tidy. We enjoyed the karaoke too.

I like the area I was at.

I like the area I was at. Very nice place, Friendly people, a lot of fun spots. What I don't like are the prices they show up on my research are not the prices I paid when I got there. Things are very expensive, foods are expensive. A three minutes taxi trip cost $25.00. Some of the taxi have no AC and their car are not clean and some of them just stopped at the gas station rolled down the windows, slammed the door and went to fuel their car without an excuse. One of them lost the direction and he was so mad not even say a word after driving for 20 minutes.

My favorite spot in Kingston, Jamaica was Emancipation Park.

My favorite spot in Kingston, Jamaica was Emancipation Park. The park was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and offered a great place to relax and reflect. Where did you eat? I ate at The Blue Room at the Pegasus Hotel, which offered excellent service and a great atmosphere. I also enjoyed eating at KFC, which is very popular in Jamaica and noticeably different from KFC in the U.S. Is getting around Kingston easy? Yes, getting around Kingston was extremely easy. Transportation was readily available, and navigating the city was convenient. What are some fun activities for solo travelers like you? Some fun activities for solo travelers include visiting Bob Marley’s Nine Mile for admission and a guided tour, enjoying a limestone bath and massage, and experiencing bamboo rafting, which was both relaxing and enjoyable.

Caye Caulker was one of our favorite stops in Belize — a laid-back, super walkable island with tons to do (great food, snorkeling tours, swimming spots, and sunsets) without the hustle and crowds of the larger island of San Pedro. The locals were very friendly, and the whole island felt very safe for our family to walk around and explore. One of the coolest surprises was at Iguana Beach, where stingrays swim right up to you in the shallow water — unreal. It’s the perfect mix of relaxed and fun, and we’d absolutely come back.

Negril itself is absolutely beautiful, the beach is pristine...

Negril itself is absolutely beautiful, the beach is pristine, and many bars along the shore let you use their chairs and umbrellas for free as long as you order food or drinks, which is a great perk. Getting around, however, can be pricey. If you plan to explore beyond the beach, you’ll likely need a car or taxis, and I found taxi prices extremely high (for example, a 7‑mile/9‑km ride to the Blue Hole was quoted at 150-200 USD). Renting a car can be a good option if you’re comfortable with more aggressive driving and driving on the left. A helpful tip is to pay in Jamaican dollars (JMD) whenever possible as using USD often ends up being more expensive, as prices tend to be rounded up. Food options in the area were somewhat limited and became repetitive after a few days, with many restaurants offering similar dishes like jerk chicken, curry chicken, and rice and peas. The food was also quite greasy and not very vegan‑ or vegetarian‑friendly, and fresh fruit wasn’t as widely available as expected. That said, the beach is truly stunning, and you can easily spend your days relaxing and enjoying the water.

Loved the hotel.

Loved the hotel. Room was a nice size and came with a kitchenette, beds comfy abd the shower was hot. Centrally located so you have access to everything you need, plenty of restaurants on and near the property. Pool and gym access. Scenic views of the bay. Do the city tour… so you can get a snapshot of the island… eat at the local eateries..,they’re the best. Revial has THE best breakfast, Buccaneers and Shoreline (hole in the wall but the most authentic food) the beaches are gorgeous enjoy as many as you can. You can also take a ferry to nearby Anguilla and St Barts

Amazing people, great food. Cuzz fish stand and Savvy on the bay great for food, getting around the public buses costs $3.50 BBD, activities on the other hand tends to be on the expensive side but highly recommend the shipwrecks and turtle excursion, rum punches will definitely give you punches.

It’s a good launching point for the islands or tours around the region to see Mayan ruins. It’s a safe city, although poor by western standards. I hadn’t traveled in the developing world for awhile and I had to adjust seeing the daily poverty. Beautiful, friendly people and we always had a good meal!
