The hotel is wonderful. All rooms have a wonderful view of the sea. The room is perfectly clean, there was daily cleaning and changing of towels. Pleasant staff, very friendly people. The impressions remained very positive. The food in the hotel is very tasty, this applies to both breakfasts and food from the menu, a big thank you to the chef. We spent a lot of time by the pool, there is a very beautiful garden. The beach is very close, 2 minutes. The sea water is clean, but the place near the beach is not clean. There is a beach closer to the center, it takes 15 minutes to walk there from the hotel.

The hotel was simply fantastic. The rooms, pool and breakfast were better than in the pictures. The building is brand new and is very clean. Ionian's Breeze is very quiet and highly recommended for those who want to unwind in Albania. We didn't go to the private beach, but the pool was already super refreshing. The service was also very good, we got a WhatsApp message in advance to ask how our trip was going and when we would arrive so everything was ready for our arrival. Ionian's Breeze exceeded all expectations so definitely recommended!!!

We were completely happy with our stay. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful, the location is great (close to shops, restaurants & the beach), the rooms are modern, newly refurbished and with nice balconies, the pool was a dream anyway to relax and the breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. Of all the boutique hotels I've ever stayed in, this was one of the best (and I've travelled a lot). A big thank you to the team and hope to see you again soon, you made our stay in Ksamil awesome.

I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with all the little details that made it feel special. The location was perfect — close to everything we wanted to see, the beautiful beaches, yet in a quiet area. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the warm atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great service.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was fantastic and we loved the inclusion of sun loungers included in the cost of our stay - we used these every day. Staff also provided us with beach towels to use. I'd also highly recommend the restaurant at this hotel - we ate and drank here a couple of times and enjoyed the food and gorgeous views. Our room was amazing and spacious, and the staff were great. 10/10 - we'd come back here any time!

We stayed in November so we were totally aware it was out of...

We stayed in November so we were totally aware it was out of season and there would be limited options. We enjoyed the quiet streets and there was still a small selection of restaurants open. We also went swimming, the water was cool but still enjoyable. For us Ksamil was perfect in November but I would caution that you must be prepared for a very relaxing and quiet experience.

Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of...

Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of the town at least seems to have opted to cater for those who prefer loud music / water activities on the beaches. That said, there is a good selection of bars & restaurants both in the centre of the town and on the main road into it. The hotel in which we stayed (Area Hotel) was excellent. Public transport is ok - there is a bus every 30 mins to Sarande or Butrint BUT it is packed & an experience in itself! Fares are 150 Lek (1.5 euro) each way. Taxis are available but cost approx 30 euro each way. Although card payment is accepted in most restaurants / hotels etc, it seems as though cash is king in Albania. Local currency (Lek) can be accessed once you're in the country by changing euro at one of the many exchanges.

Ksamil is a very beautiful resort with numerous stunning beaches and crystal-clear azure waters. There are plenty of quality restaurants offering delicious food at reasonable prices. The only drawback is that almost all beach spots are paid, meaning you need to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas. The cheapest spots started at around €15 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella, while more premium locations charged €30 to €40 per set. Luxury cabana-style spots could cost up to €70 per day. Almost everywhere accepted euros, so it was not necessary to exchange money into the local currency. Alternatively, you could pay in euros and receive change in the local currency (Albanian lek). On average, €1 was equivalent to about 95–96 lek.
