Beautiful old hotel with modern extension. Large car park. Large room with balcony, comfortable and very clean. Great staff, welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and able to eat on sunny veranda. Restaurant not open every day but the meal we had on Wednesday night was first class. Menu again had lots of choice and it was amazing food. Compliments to the chef. Private bathing area by the lake, beach towel and bag supplied. E-bikes to hire for day. A great hotel with lots of personal touches to make for a fantastic stay. Highly recommend

We stayed in room 9. It's incredibly large apartment, much more than 100m2. Two levels, 6 slipping places + couch. Fully equipped. Everything is brand new and in excellent condition. Large terrace with view to the lake. 3min walk to a shore. Friendly and supportive host.

What made this hotel truly exceptional was our lake view from the large and spacious balcony and the amazing breakfast. Not only the food was amazing at the breakfast, but the view overlooking the lake with perfect lighting, and outdoor dining--really perfection! We also enjoyed the private beach access. It is a nice plus that there are toilet facilities at this beach. Not only did we swim and sun during the day, but we went to the beach at night to watch the Perseids meteor shower and it was quite the show. The lakeside was quite dark with no ambient lighting so the viewing conditions were ideal. Thank you for the hospitality, we would come again in a heartbeat!

Located just next to the golf course, it offers a stunning view on the lake below and the mountains beyond. The place itself is very nice and clean and he staff is very friendly. While I loved the place I would not stay there again simply because of the LOUD church bells across the street that wake you up at 6AM and keep you up.

The beach and the lake are marvelous and just in front of...

The beach and the lake are marvelous and just in front of the house. We have dinner close to the lake, but most of the restaurants in the area a moderately expensive . The itinerary to the village is quite easy as the down center is just 1,2 km away from the pension. Next time will spent some time on hiking trip in the mountain close by. There are a lot of itineraries for cycling as well. If you come in the summer , don't forget your paddleboard ( its the most common tool for transportation on the lake unless you have a small yacht or boat)

The nature is beautiful around Seewalchen, many lakes, mountains, interesting paths. We had rainy days, but you can still visit nearby Salcburg or Hallein salt mine which I recommend very much (so much fun and so well put together).

Quiet village (we were in Seefeld to the north of the main centre) - there is a small convenience store but you need to drive further (about 8km) to get to major shops or bakery for fresh bread. Stunning setting surrounded by mountains - good for walking, climbing, cycling etc. Lake great for bathing and watersports if weather is fine, but if cold or raining need to go further afield to find things to do. Check opening times for shops and hospitality outlets before travelling - some only open certain days of the week.

Astonishing view of the lake from the hotel, nice easy walking trails everywhere, e-bike rent facilites, diving facilities, golf courses, free beaches, friendly staff. Fresh fish from the lake to eat, very delicious. Time very well spent.

gorgeous house & view! fully equipped to the last detail - the owners have really thought about everything! even a great selection of herbals teas, beers in the fridge, coffee machine including capsules & cream, washing machine + dryer & dishwasher including tablets, games, enormous flat screen tv, great terrace, etc etc etc. this is really a lovely place to stay & totally worth the price which is very reasonable considering what you get! the only disadvantage for our group of 5 - 1 toilet which in a 140 sqm house is a bit strange! other than that - all was amazing & we highly recommend!!

We were here in the low season most things were closed, the lake is superb and great in the summer however the village needs a little more in way of evening recreation perhaps another restaurant and a bar. The public bathing spot is not to be missed its clan and has all the facilities you need There is a local SPAR supermarket which has everything you need with ample parking

Wonderfull town, easily accessible by car - The A1 motorway / Exit 242 is just some 3 kilometers away. Great place for travelling in the "Salzkammergut". All one can need is just few steps away.

Beautiful place with clear like sea water. However this place is not dog friendly. Dogs are not allowed anywhere around the lake which is very sad. So if you are looking for a place where you can enjoy time with your dog, look elsewhere.
