We had an overnight stay with half board, and the hotel did not disappoint. We booked the Hotel because of the Spa and everything was just what we were hoping for. The pool is small but perfectly fine for the number of guests, and the spa area, including the sauna and steam bath, was excellent. The outdoor area is spacious, and it’s lovely to walk around and unwind. Dinner was a set course meal and really tasty, especially the butter in the appetizer. Our waiter, Timo, was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was also awesome. The room was beautiful, with a wooden floor instead of carpet, and we even got some Milka treats, which was a sweet touch. The hotel is a bit far from the center, but that was exactly what we wanted, a little retreat away from the city. For all the amenities and the half board, the price felt just right.

We want to say huge thanks to the lady which was at the reception and also met us at the breakfast in the morning. 5 star service from her! Superb stay, very nice room, parking right in front of the entrance and nice breakfast. The view from the balcony is also very beautiful, especially in the night when all the town is lit. Without doubt will come again!

Was a great experience to be in Maierl Alm. Stunning view, clean and comfortable rooms. We stayed for 3 nights including breakfast with my family. Every morning delicious smells of baked breads, cruissants.. :) . Very nice location to hike & bike beautiful forest and alms around. We choose the hotel restaurant for dinners, very good ala carte menu, including traditional Tirol cuisine, all was tasty and fresh. More over, very helpful and friendly staff. Definitely, one of my best choice for vacation. Thanks to all :)

The location is lovely, and the view is charming and provides all the services you need in the apartment. In addition to its proximity to the center of Westendorf, a few minutes' walk. Honestly, the apartment is luxurious and worth its price and there is a lift that makes it easy to carry bags. A full section is available swimming pool, sauna, steam and massage, all of which are elegant and hotel services. Thank God, it was a beautiful stay, and the kids enjoyed the place, especially the pools.

View from Hotel was best. Room was the biggest size we ever lived in any hotel. It was crystal clean and good furnished and decorated with kids friendly furniture. Bathroom was very clean and very big and warm. Toilet was separate from bathroom. Sauna and steam bath was plus, though we couldn't use as we were so lasy to use it, it's very big hotel so everything was well managed. Kids play area , grown up play area with pool table and TT was awesome.

Everything was clean. The breakfast was delicious, and all the staff was super friendly. Sadly, one of our suitcases was left behind by SAS (the worse airline), where we took our connecting flight. The ladies at the front desk were helpful by calling the airport and directing us where to rent the ski clothing and equipment.

We were couple with kid, stayed at Suite with Mountain View - very comfortable room. Location is excellent for a trip in Tirol (Westendorf) The hotel's staff is friendly and kindly. Very good breakfast. Very nice pool / relax area Underground parking is available in hotel.

Just really friendly and efficient staff. Nothing was pushy or awkward. Nice beers. Not too far to the grossglockner pass. Enjoyed the trip up the ski lift even though it was late spring. Kirchberg looked iconically tyrol.

Westerndorf itself is very nice and quiet, not the most lively place I've been to, so wouldn't recommend it if you are young people looking for parties... My main issue was that the entire ski area is not great. It's considered the second largest in Austria, but it's pretty low, and global warming means that the snow there is terrible (even in February). Most of the pistes were too short for my liking and not great. We ended up running away to Kitzbuhel the next day, and it was much better

Hopfgarten im Brixental is a great option for friendly good skiing at a great price along with authentic Austrian cooking. Hopfgarten has three large supermarkets and at least a dozen decent restaurants so there is plenty to keep your family busy and fed when they aren't skiing or hiking. European ski values are phenomenal compared to the USA (tickets are $55 - 75 for half day/full day) and Austrian slope difficulty ratings are a little understated compared to America, so Although Hopfgarten and its several connected mountains appear to be mostly "intermediate" in difficulty they can range from intermediate to high intermediate, which is good. plenty of lifts at connected mountains to explore for extra runs and varied apres ski adventure and you are only 30 minutes from the larger towns of Worgl and Kitzbuhel by train or car.

Great, and spacious place.

Great, and spacious place. Very large living room combined with kitchen. Kitchen is well equipped. On a rainy day we watched TV- Amazon, and Netflix with your account working. They even have a sauna - we were there in 30 degree Celsius, so not needed. Clean air, and you can see Bambi at the back of the house. Have cows and great places nearby to hike. Restaurants and groceries are nearby, 5 minutes by car. Excellent choice with family or friends. The family running the place is kind and sweet, very helpful.

its very beautiful in Kirchberg. the local people are very helpful and kind. eg the restaurants, supermarket, buses and train network. the food was very tasty, there is a lot of choices on what to eat. places are open late and all through the day too. there is lots to see and do there, skiing, tobogganing, shopping, hiking also they are very pet friendly in restaurants hotels etc...

We spent most of our time on the ski slopes, which were vast and, well kept and fun to ski on. We loved to have lunch in the mountain, although quite a few restaurants in the town were nice too. It's a small enough town so it's easily navigated. We loved the skiing as a family but would love to return in summer, as it looks like their summer outdoor lifestyle would be great for us too.

I've spent many winter months in Hopfgarten, while the town has reduced in variety of bars its definitely matured into a lovely base to ski/snowboard from. In the winter months it's the calmer town to start from with easy access to the gondola and plenty of accommodation available at very reasonable prices. In summer the mountain hikes and landscape are wonderful for bike rides and the town itself is a calming oasis in an often busy world. I've used it as an escape on more than one occasion.

We loved our apartment!

We loved our apartment! It was the ideal home base for our family adventures. The spaciousness and impeccable cleanliness provided the perfect retreat after busy days of hiking. The kitchen was well equiped, 2 bathrooms were very practical. The reception staff was incredibly helpful and kind, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to any family!

Pleasant small ski-in/ski-out town with a handful of (traditional Austrian and Italian) restaurants, some reasonably large supermarkets. Close to Kitzbűhel (5 km/3 miles) and surrounded by very nice attractions within an hour's drive (Krimml Waterfalls, Wilder Kaiser, Bad Gastein/Hofgastein). Abundance of skiing options in winter at your doorstep. As with most European cities and especially towns, Kirchberg is walkable. For anyone fearing for their cars due to the elements, it also has a paid underground parking.

Really good location, there are a range of places to eat and...

Really good location, there are a range of places to eat and shop. In the evenings there is a range of markets and music. There are plenty of good walks locally, as well as excellent access to local towns and cities further away.
