Great hotel in a former monastery, very comfortable and centrally located. Our room had a view of the river Danube. Fantastic for walks around town, along the river and to the castle ruins. Friendly staff, amazing breakfast, nice bar/restaurant in the evening.

Friendly, helpful service. Good food. Comfortable room. The location was excellent for us as it was yards from the Roman site we had come to visit and we were able to join up with our friends at the hotel. We particularly appreciated the comfortable sitting area just outside our room and I really enjoyed the art work. I would suggest that it would be nice to be able to buy a set of greeting cards, or similar merchandise, featuring the colourful, vibrant paintings of Carnuntum which decorated the walls of the hotel.
