Loved the pool area with fireplaces with view on the mountains. Loved the absolutely friendly personnel. Loved the coffee and tea setup for the room that you can choose yourself. This was our 2nd visit to the hotel, we came back because of the comfort and location. Our room had a fabulous view of the mountains and was cozy and quiet. We arrived 4 hours early with the intention of just dropping off our bags but were allowed early check in as our room was ready for us. The airport shuttle bus to Calgary has a stop opposite in the sister hotel and everything else was a few minutes walk away. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Everything was awesome! The staff was outstanding and so helpful. They gave us an early check in with super short notice. The room with clean and came with everything we needed. The pool. Oh the pool! Best hotel pool Iv ever stayed at. So much fun. I love the consideration they took to create a splash pool for little kids unlike most pools that are deep the whole way through. 10/10. Cant wait to come back!

Loved loved the location! Beautiful views from the room and porch. Loved that you included a free kayak rental which I took advantage of for over an hour on a clear calm morning. I kayaked all over the lake. Food in the restaurant was outstanding. I had the B.C. imported sable fish and my husband had the duck. Both were amazing. Our server was very friendly and gave us excellent service. She brought the chef out to meet us and we praised his culinary skills. He told us he had recently returned from working in Denmark at a two star Michelin restaurant. I would eat at his restaurant again and again! We hope to return to the resort with our kids and grandkids some time. I would definitely recommend this lodge to everyone wanting to take advantage of privacy in a tourist town. Perfect time to visit seemed to be at end of summer season, as crowds were minimal and fall colors were gorgeous! Hike to the top of the mountain in back was challenging but well worth it when we got to the top overlooking the town and surrounding lakes and mountains.

Very cozy, nice location, perfect to visit the Canyon! Staff is very friendly. We checked-in around 4PM, they recommended us to visit the Canyon around 7PM and not the next morning and OMG the Lady was soooo right! We managed to do a great hike with very few people around, enjoying the golden hours around sunset when we started the Canyon hike at 18:40. And the next morning, around 8AM the Canyon was already crowded :D so thanks a lot again for the tipp :) ;). Our cabin was very clean; cozy, great :)

The resort is placed with nature around. We went out by dust to look for the wild life. Didn't see any, but then we took the car to town and saw 2 elks just in front of a house🤣🤣. That was funny. The rooms are huge and so are the beds. So comfy. I enjoyed the pool and hot tubs in the morning before breakfast. The food is very nice aswell. The staff are so lovely and helpfull. Such a good atmosphere at that resort. Would highly recommend it, and I will be back for sure.

Calgary is often our hub for travel. We travel West Jet. This time we decided to stay and spent Christmas there. Stop in Banff at least 4 times a year traveling from BC to Alberta visiting family. Absolutely breathtaking views, lots of shops, my favourite though are all the walking and hiking trails. It is very expensive and appreciate hotels that are budget and dog friendly. It is just a beautiful place to visit and one my favourite destinations in the world.

I love being amongst the historic buildings and the Government buildings which are all situated right downtown. The City lights, old churches and large estate homes with huge snow laden trees that cause an umbrella overtop of them, create an air of nostalgia and peacefulness. Roger's Place Stadium is right down the street. The center of the City overlooks the river valley with its unique bridges, gorgeous parks and pathways. Edmonton is a perfect combination of old and new! A bustling city with quiet areas tucked away beneath it's towering skyscrapers and ancient trees. The challenge is in the amount of snow that falls in a short period of time which leaves streets narrowed due to the accumulation. That is to be expected in a northern Alberta City. WE LOVE EDMONTON! Thank you for another wonderful stay!

Lake Louise is getting very over touristed.

Lake Louise is getting very over touristed. The Chateau is off limits except to guests and durring peak season the rates there are around $2000 per night which puts it out of reach for most people and the resturants are mostly only for guests. Parking at $35 in the summer is silly and the lot fills up early in the morning. The busses also get booked up early forcing some tourists to book "Private Tours" at an exhorbant cost. We live in Calgary and love the area but now only come in the off season or occasionaly camp nearby in the summer as most hotels are north of $500 per night. We can afford to stay anywhere but do look for value.. Parks Canada need to re-evaluate...
