The hotel was clean, had plenty of space and had an amazing view. The breakfast was amazing. We ate dinner and had some of the best pizza I've ever had. Would love to stay here again. The staff, from the friendly front desk attendant to the servers were all excellent as well.

Rooms are simple but very spacious! The hotel is extremely clean!! The swimming pool a must! All in all we had a great stay!

The family-run Tresa Bay Hotel right on the banks of Lake Lugano is just 30 minutes by shuttle train away from the center of Lugano.

We were upgraded to a superior room with a great balcony overlooking the lake. Excellent breakfast in a room again overlooking the lake. Nice touch that booking a participating hotel includes the local transit pass (Ticino) which gives free travel on the local train travel and discounts for things like the funicular to the San Salvatore summit.

The 4-star Hotel & Spa Cacciatori is located in quiet, romantic, rural surroundings, about 15 minutes by car from Lugano. It is surrounded by no less than 340 officially marked hiking trails.
