The hotel has an incredible staff - without exception, everyone was pleasant, helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, assisted and valued. However, a special shout-out goes to each of Gustavo and Patrick at the front door, to Kimberly on the front desk, and to Diego in the Club Room, all of whose services were personally appreciated by us. This hotel is the perfect place to relax after a long flight to Chile or to wrap up a vacation there. Absolutely the best!

Santiago is a rough place with a lot of petty crime.

Santiago is a rough place with a lot of petty crime. We were victims of 3 attempted robberies, including a chain snatching. Servers in restaurants warned us about keeping our phones out, as phone stealing is very common. A side trip to Valparaiso and Viña Del Mar was lovely.

The city is fantastic!

The city is fantastic! I used to study there and kinda feels like home. Everything is easy, million of stores at hand and walking distance. Very pedestrian friendly, with a good vibe, excellent content and wonderful natural setting (cerros, mountains around, views, vegetation) combined with great urban structure.

I love Santiago! It was vibrant, cultural and thriving.

I love Santiago! It was vibrant, cultural and thriving. The best part of the city was its people. They are interesting, insightful and love to tell you where to visit and what to see. They stop what they are doing to assist you, even if you don’t speak Spanish. I will visit again in the future. I have visited four other South American cities recently and I haven’t found it in those countries. It was safe for me as a solo traveler. In fact I extended my vacation days here because of all of the above and the beautiful mountains. I will encourage others to visit Santiago to experience it themselves.
