The bed is very confortable, the pool was very clean, no one leave in the pool although the végétation, you can swim, it is clean and the temperature of the water is good. The garden is very beautiful with the lights during the night. It is close to the main street in cahuita you don t need a car. You can visit the national park easily. You have air conditioning, fridge, tv...perfect hotel

Wildlife everywhere...stayed 2 nights and saw way more here from porch then saw in the NP ..howler and capuchin monkeys at all times of the day huge iguanas agouti birds butterflies crabs so much to see it was incredible..was the highlight of our trip of 20 days so far .. if you are visiting for wildlife THIS IS DEFINITELY FOR YOU!! DONT HESITATE it was amazing. It's a wooden simple private cabin with a comfy hammoc

There is a kitchenette you can access fully stocked ...the fans in room are good enough to keep you cool as well as the bug netting around beds was nice

The pictures do not do justice to thee accommodation. It's a lovely little house, quietly situated in a beautiful garden where howler monkeys, toucans and other animals are regularly spotted. The accommodation is on walking distance from the beach and some eating facilities. Staff is very helpful and kind, makes sure the accommodation is upkept and that there are always fresh sheets and towels at hand. The house is spacious and there's a lot of privacy from the other houses at the property. We had a very fun and relaxing time at this place with our young children. Would definitely recommend.

The perfect place to stay in Cahuita. Anett already provided lots of valuable support during the planning stage of our trip and made organizing easy for us. It was a pleasure to stay in her well-equipped garden apartment, where she was highly attentive to her guests' needs and always ready to help. A big thank you to Anett and her husband for their hospitality and for making our stay in Cahuita so enjoyable (including listening to distant howler monkey sounds in the early morning)! We would return any time. Highly recommended.

The location and the grounds are simply stunning. The whole property is a beautiful tropical oasis garden. The rooms are small but comfortable with simple facilities that are the necessities. Come to this place to enjoy the natural setting in the most relaxing environment, not for a fancy hotel. We loved it here and extended our stay. Patty the owner is incredibly friendly and helpful and makes great coffee in the morning to sip while you enjoy the ocean front views and local wildlife.

This place - one word: AMAZING! Right in the jungle, many monkeys around, is just spectacular! The garden is simply amazing and the owners very friendly and responsive! The swimming pool
was perfect after a long day exploring the area. You probably need a car, so 5min drive to restaurants and supermarket and 10min to Cahuita National Park. I’ll get back 100%, my kids were in love!

The cabins were great, very clean and the pool was a nice touch. They cleaned it every day and changed the sheets every second day. When we were leaving, we asked for taxi to get to the bus station and we were pleasantly surprised that it was covered by the property :)

An exceptionally beautiful lodge. The two hosts, Delphine and Bert, have created a little paradise. Everything is absolutely beautiful - the garden, the pool in the middle of the jungle, the houses.... The hosts are very nice, helpful and funny. It is close to the very pleasant village of Cahuita. We loved Cahuita Inn, it was probably the cleanest and the most comfortable place we had in Costa Rica. The owners were really kind and accommodating, from bringing us food for the kids when we arrived really late to borrowing the thermometer when one of the kids got sick. The rooms were big, spacious and clean. We would definitely return on our next trips.

We loved this place and didn't want to leave! Excellent location, lovely atmosphere, generous breakfast and friendly staff. A great pool too. Right near the beach so great for watching the sunrise and for chilling with a beer in the evening. Our room was spotless and huge.

I would give this guesthouse 7 stars if that were possible. The staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful. The grounds are a tropical paradise full of birds, butterflies & other wildlife.

Beautiful Swimming pool and garden. Very friendly staff. Room spacious and nice. Bed comfi. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night! Walk is an option…max 30 min to center. Or 3000 taxi. Snorkeling tour an walk in Cuahita was nice!

This town was more quiet and while there were tourists it...
This town was more quiet and while there were tourists it didn't feel over run with them. We were there at the end of the rainy season. Wish surfed. The hike in the park was well worth it, to blend town and nature. There is nothing fancy about the town but has a great vibe.

Nice for snorkeling and hiking through the park. Not so touristic as Puerto Viejo, so a more realistic Carribean vibe.
Snorkeling only allowed by tour, many fish but the coral wasn't very colorful

Costa Rica, for those who prefer nature as a concept not to be endured too long, and with minimal discomfort.
I can't speak to other parts of the country but the Caribbean coast is not a place for real travelers. Go to Honduras or Guatemala instead.
