Would I stay here again? Yes. Why? The price was better than anywhere within 200km. That said there are some rough edges. The lack of staff. The thin walls. The constant door slams. The wifi reaching the room. But for the price these were acceptable for me. On the plus side, the towel was the best I’ve had in 4 months in Spain. The A/C unit in our private room really worked well. The fridge was a bonus too. Comfy bed and separate pillows. Not the odious unipillow. Crisp white sheets, extremely clean. We spent one night with 70 high schoolers. That was rough. Recommend listening to ocean sounds at full volume in order to sleep. You’ve got to go to the campground in town 2.5 km away to check-in, but it’s hard to find an employee. Getting checked in was the hardest part of this stay.

Basic Spanish village catering to the fishing community.
Basic Spanish village catering to the fishing community. Fishing shops are expensive and at this time of the year there are not a lot of restaurants or bars open. Fishing spots can get a bit crowded and May is the month that the fish start spawning so they are not so easy to catch.
Great scenery if your into that, with the castle on the top of the hill. Not a lot else to see unless you travel to surrounding villages for churches etc.
