The hotel was perfect, me and my wife spend a week in this very nice adults only hotel located right at the start of the most popular dunes de maspalomas which are amazing. Since we were so close we spend couple of evnings in the dunes looking at the stars and woke up early to see the sunrise. The Food was very good a lot of options, the al carte restaurant we visited "spanish" restaurant was top class with very good sugestions of wine we had a lovely meal. Pool was heated which didnt really needed to be due to the weather. The walk from the hotel to the beach was around 15-20minutes which wasnt too bad. The music every evening was also very good, parking was no problem on the street.

EVERYTHING... Staying at Hotel Faro was incredible. I had half board and didn't have to worry about where or what to eat. The meals were delicious, and the selection of food in the buffet was extraordinary. Location is fantastic, just right in from of the beach and close to bars and restaurants. Can't recommend Hotel Faro enough. The live music every night is just a beautiful touch to unwind your day over a glass of wine overlooking the ocean. Not to forget the incredible staff, whom made me feel welcomed at all times. Do yourself a favor and book your stay here.

The location of the rooms and terrace facing the sun gave an opportunity to sun bathe on the balcony if you want to. Nearby you have a supermarket, multiple restaurants, and the walk to the closest beach is around 15 mins.

I love the slowed relaxed pace of life of Gran Canaria

I love the slowed relaxed pace of life of Gran Canaria Excellent shopping, weather, bus service, food, and all value for money. The municipal workers do an excellent job keeping the streets clean and environmentally friendly. Very low crime rate. However we must all stop using those small black landfill bins on our streets and opt for more environmentally friendly solutions. This was my second visit, once before covid in November 2018 and again in December 2025. The weather was great on both occasions.

Adeje is busy area, too touristy, a lot of hotels and rentals. Huge traffic jams on the highway. But a lots of grocery shops, shopping malls if you prefer that on your vacation. But the south is most sunny area in winter months.

If your at the top of the resort it's worth the walk to the main sea front down the steps as there are a lot more shops and places of interest. Restaurants, cafes, historic chapels and a wonderful little fishermen's museum.

Hosts were nice and accommodating. Pictures seen accurately depict this hostel. Location and price were great as I had to visit the hospital up the hill twice a day. Kitchen was fine. What could be improved is the ventilation (new air) - on both floors - there isn't any when the bedroom doors and windows are closed.

There's a number of beaches in the seaside town of Corralejo...

There's a number of beaches in the seaside town of Corralejo, but the best are just south of town where the huge dunes begin (walkable in 1+hours from the harbour, or by bus, bicycle & car), and there's a lot of space! Just keep exploring and walking. The north coast from Corralejo also worth exploring, although quite rugged. The town is also a good place to pick up surfing & diving trips, or to get quick ferries/boats to Lanzarote & Isla de Lobos. Corralejo has experienced rapid tourist development over the last 20+years, some good, some not, but all close to the sea. It has a huge range of bars, cafes, restaurants, ice-cream, shops, and also some live music. Some of it's a bit too noisy, but if you explore you'll find something to your taste especially in the quieter streets & squares away from the main commercial strip. Roads from Corralejo are good for exploring to the sourth and also inland, and we noted that there are the biginnings of a series on inland walks in quite stunning scenery.

The beach is very nice and very long as connects to...

The beach is very nice and very long as connects to maspalomas dunes. The only downside is steps, although the is lift further now the promenade( didn’t use it). Playa del ingles is family friendly without full nudity; for full nudity need to walk around 20 mins down the dunes.

Perfect location to stay in December, not far from South Airport, not far from Submarine Safari, Los Gigantes, Siam Park, Masca also not far with a car, you have options to choose beach, reasonable prices.

We loved to be 10 minutes drive away from the very touristic...

We loved to be 10 minutes drive away from the very touristic area of Maspalomas and instead enjoy the view of maspalomas dune from the mountains. We enjoyed the drive to Pico de Nieves. The mountains are wonderful. Canyons and then pine trees. The view from Pico de Nieves and through the journey there is incredible. The dunes deserve a visit as well as puerto de mogan. But the mountains are a paradise.
