They have a tiny room but it is a third of the price of a standard room, so I know what I was getting. If you are finishing the Camino at Finisterre, consider this as a treat for yourself. Location can't be better, right at the 00.000 km marker with cliffs on either side, the lighthouse in back and The Camino in front. Watching the sunset from the two story bar is perfect and I had my best meal of the journey in their restaurant. Included breakfast was lovely.

The cabins are well designed. The place is comfortable and clean. The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. Dinner was excellent, home made. We ordered salad, fried calamari and grilled fish. Dessert was devine. Unfortunately, we were not able to eat breakfast at the cabin. We wanted to resume our pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela early and breakfast is offered by 9:00am. I highly recommend the place.

Are you kidding ?? This was an incredible place and the price was ridiculously low. I was going to say cheap but that would be a disservice! Everything was first class , service, cleanliness, dinner was the local fresh catch fish ( perfectly prepared). I could go on!

Finisterre is amazing.

Finisterre is amazing. The Playa de Mar de Fuora is such an incredible homage to God's creation of heaven on Earth. Playa dos Corbeiros is great if you want to swim completely alone. The Iglesia de Maria das Arenas is beautiful and they have a pilgrim mass at 6pm with a lively priest. There are also pre Christian pagan sites in the area which are super worth visiting.

Fisterra is a quaint seaside location.

Fisterra is a quaint seaside location. There are plenty of restaurants along the harbour, although many very pricey. I opted for the smaller cafes in the centre of town. This spot is growing in popularity as part of the Camino and it's beautiful ocean views and varied landscape.

Our cousin recommended Corcubion.

Our cousin recommended Corcubion. We stayed five weeks & enjoyed every minute of it. We felt like locals. Many many places to eat, always fresh fish & healthy salads. The portions there are way too big for what we eat. People are nice, and friendly. 20 minutes from there is Finesterra, we love that town too. We walked by the water every day, about 4 miles. They have a series of trails at Pindos mountain, we love hiking. We meet people doing the "Camino", every day. People come from all over to do up to 500 miles of walking the camino. We walk to the supermarket in the next town CE, to get our groceries. Food was overall inexpensive. Love their white wine "Albarino". Yesterday we bought some bottles in the estates. It's a small town with lots of things to do outdoor. You can do everything or nothing at all, and be equally happy. We are coming back. My husband is even entertaining the idea of moving there permanently. It's the life style what capture our hearts.

Fisterra is a quaint, small fishing town, with regular daily catches. So near the harbour is does smell of fish but many of the local restaurants have a great reputation for sea food. There are several great places to walk for the day; coastal paths, beaches (Fora, & Arnela) are a good walk (3-6 miles) but really worth it. Stunning scenery.

Fisterra is a remarkable and singular place.

Fisterra is a remarkable and singular place. If you get the chance to visit it do so and make sure you walk out to the Cabo and Faro to the point they call 'The End of Land'. If you've walked a Camino this is the natural, and some might say, real conclusion of your spiritual and physical endeavours.

We had spent two weeks walking the Camiño and wanted to visit Finisterre for the sunset, the day trip timings didn’t work so we hired a car from the station in Santiago, drove 75mins, stayed the night and drove back to the airport the following day. It was the perfect end to our trip.

The lighthouse is worth a visit, even though you will be sharing it with lots of other people, as it's a very popular spot. We wouldn't bother staying in Fisterra though. A couple of hours to see the lighthouse, wander around and enjoy the sea views is enough
