Melilla is not usually on your premier touristic "bucket list", but it is for sure site that you have to visit for a lot of specific topics. It is Spanish town in Africa, in is mix of the culture, religions, there you can enjoy the best of both Africa and Europe, food, culture, atmosphere. Not to forget some nice sandy beaches in Melilla or in it's surrounds.
There beside, you can visit one big town of Morocco - Nador. Even more interesting, beside, are the fringes of Sahara desert which offers possibility to feel various experiences.
The most important for me is that in Melilla live open and kind people and it will be one of the most important reasons to visit it again. Can't wait.

An interesting place with musea, shops and beaches.
An interesting place with musea, shops and beaches. Plenty of food choices for the foodies with very reasonable prices. Book a table at La Legion on Saturday or Sunday for amazing local fresh food, plenty of fish and meat choices. Melilla la vieja is definitely worth to explore
