United KingdomAttme Have is a wonderful apartment finished to very high standard. Very clean, and contains all the equipment you need for your stay. The kitchen is very well equipped. The shower is very powerful, even on eco mode!
The location is very peaceful. Perfect for rest abd relaxation.
We had a lovely time there, we were able to visit places about an hour from the apartment, like Polar Park.
It was a great base for exploring, relaxing and soaking in the tranquil surroundings. You will need a car though if ypu fo want to explore. There is a COOP shop about 5 mins drive away, this was very handy.
One night the owners even had their lovely lights on in the bay, it name the sea very surreal.
The apartment is literally on the sea's edge, you get a very peaceful calming view from the lounge.
Although we didn't meet the owners face to face, all contact we had was very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was via a key drop box, so very easy.
I would highly recommend for anyone wanting a beautiful, peaceful location to explore northern Norway. I hope to visit again one day. :-)

We had breakfast in the apartment and it was exceptional, cheese, meats, salmon, bread, juice, yogurt, oats etc
The location was remarkable, unable to capture its grandeur in a photograph. The weather changing frequently like magic, one minute fjord and mountains and then they'd all disappear behind a cloud and as quickly as it came, the cloud would clear and we'd have the beautiful view again. Also, many stars at night when weather permitted.

Everything about this hotel deserves praise, especially the fantastic breakfasts. The rooms are very spacious, equipped with a small kitchen including an electric hob and even an ironing board. Right next to the hotel there is a covered, spacious parking lot, as well as shopping galleries. The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the Northern Lights Cathedral. It was also important to us that this hotel has pet-friendly rooms.

Really nice studio. Stayed in the upper floor . Facing west side of the sky I watched the Aurora dancing from the sofa of the living room. Excellent breakfast buffet as well. Tried the Hot tub completely value for money although the water temperature was around 35 ( Would be better if it around 40 , not complaining though) .
The property also has lots of parking spaces with Electrical charging . Overall a 10/10 stay.

We stayed in the hotel for one week. The price (especially in Christmas time) is very nice and for breakfast there was a big variety and amount available. The stuff is also very friendly and all our wishes were considered. We would stay in this hotel again. The hotel has a certain distance to the centrum, but everything is accessible by bus mostly all the time within a few minutes.

The hotel is brand new; everything was perfect the owner, the staff and the restaurant.
The room was very comfortable, warm and super clean.
The sea view from the room was fantastic.

I loved this part of Norway most of all.
I loved this part of Norway most of all. The landscape is exquisite and I'd like to explore it in greater depth. We stayed only one night and went dog sledding. So much fun, and meeting the dogs was a highlight.

A gateway to other areas like Lofoten. My recommendation is to stay further afield to the full extent you can. as things like quiet, darkness and views all improve a lot away from the airport.

We chose Alta, the City of Northern Lights, to "Hunt the Aurora Borealis". We were NOT disappointed. It was a magical experience. Lots of beautiful northern lights shows. We did a number of activities: night time horse drawn sleigh ride and dinner; king crab fishing experience; tour of the Ice Hotel at Sorrisniva; dog sled ride at Holmen Husky. We stayed at a canvas dome in GLOD, with the most amazing guide to see the Northern Lights. We stayed in a forest suite at Holmen Husky. The place was incredible and the way they treat the dogs will completely change your thoughts on the sport of dog sledding. They were the sweetest and happiest dogs I've ever seen. We stayed at Flatmoen Natur Lodge, which is a family owned and ran farm. Each lodge has their own private, outdoor jacuzzi so you can sit outside while the snow is falling or hope to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights.

Very picturesque island, two days is more than enough to explore it. Sunshine is a rarity. End of season mid August. Place for camper vans to park. One shop and one cafe. You can buy only beer in a shop, no alcohol. For a harder spirits you need to travel to Tromso. Bring your food if you can, shops sells very simple and not very good staff. More or less decent meal you can have in an arctic hotel, which is pricey and just ok, no more, choice is limited.

The price was too high for the poor accommodation we had during our stay in the lodge: the apartment we booked was not available at our arrive and they move us to a cabin with old furniture, that it looked like it hadn't been cleaned well, the terrace was partially occupied by old furniture. We had the impression to be in a location very good during the Summer time, but not yet ready to welcome customers in April-May: the apartment we booked should have been definitively more comfortable and with better spaces then the one the move us, considering the rate we paid for our stay! We will not recommend this accommodation to others!

I enjoyed the amazing views as well as the peaceful environment. The apartment was neat and had everything I needed.
The bus ride into town was a great way to see more of Tromso even though it was 30 minutes each way. I loved it.

Can't really find any negatives for this place. The locals are very friendly, the streets are clean, the scenery is stunning and best of all its only about 35 minutes drive to Norkapp. If you are visiting we would 100% recommend booking a trip to Norkapp. Its a fascinating place...the top of Europe!!. We flew in, stayed 3 nights then departed on a fjord cruise. Well worth every penny. We decided to take a walk one morning, its obviously very hilly but not too taxing. Its about 5 miles to completely encircle the town though that did include a few detours for the sake of photos. There is a restaurant close to the Norkapp museum called The Corner. The food, welcome and service were second to none. Totally recommend it to any visitors. Well that's my opinion of Honningsvag, visit yourself and see what you think.

Tromsø was an extraordinary Arctic escape that exceeded every expectation—our family enjoyed breathtaking fjords, charming streets, soulful culture, and the surreal magic of the northern lights dancing across the sky. The food was delightful, the stay was warm and cozy despite the polar chill, and the hospitality made us feel truly welcome. Whether it was the scenic beauty, the sense of adventure, or simply the peaceful joy of being surrounded by nature’s finest, Tromsø gave us memories we will treasure forever. We wholeheartedly recommend this polar gem to anyone seeking a meaningful blend of wilderness, wonder, and warmth—Tromsø is an experience everyone should have at least once, and we can’t wait for others to discover and love it just as we did.

Small town with great history.
Small town with great history. It revolves around tourist, so thankful that the museum was open on Sunday. As I did not join tours, I find 3 days was more than enough. The tour agency for Russian border stated having tours at in the afternoons however did not approve my request and insist that I book a private tour or join the morning tour (together with the tourists from the cruises). I did not want as my mother just arrived from the cruise after 7 days, and she wants to rest first. I ended up booking a taxi and the price is the same. The taxi driver brought us to both Russian borders (old and new), let us spend time and help us take pictures. The price was standard (NOK1,600) for an hour. What is lacking is probably a tour guide to explain things. But that is OK.
Kirkenes has a great view but lack good viewing points (well, I did not find any...). I found a randomly shared viewing point up a hill which was good but not the best.
Must visits - Andersgrotta (Daily, 12.30pm tour, NOK300 per person), Borderland Museum, Russian Border, and see the pictures in town by Ellisif Wessel.
