What an absolutely incredible place. Please do not think twice and book some time at Waya Lailai. We had the BEST time. The people are what makes it so so special. There is nothing they wouldn’t have done to make us more comfortable and to make sure we were having a good time. I want to comment on the amazing food which was so tasty and nutritious which fuelled us for our next bout of swimming, snorkelling excursions with the experienced staff, exploring the island or just lazing in the beachside hammocks under the shade. I acknowledge the facilities aren’t what you might come to expect of a 5 star hotel and wifi/internet was inconsistent but it is clean and functional and we were comfortable the entire time. You’re on an island so it is absolutely expected and we had comfy beds, clean sheets and towels, running water, and private toilets and showers in our standalone bungalows. We could not have done any better for the cost. I just cannot recommend Waya Lailai enough and will talk about our experiences here for the rest of my life.

Beautiful beachfront location on Naviti Island with clear water, great snorkeling, and a very peaceful island vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food especially dinner—was delicious and well presented. Having 24-hour solar power was a big plus.

What a gem. The ppl here are amazing. They had an amazing lovo dinner and little party while we were there. Caught fresh fish and crabs for dinner. The spot is stunning. It's a home stay shared with 2-6 other people, if you like that then you're good. Overall 5-stars. We loved it!

Difficult to say. All. The location is a paradise. We had a wonderful beachfront palm villa with two bedrooms, fantastic open air bathroom with two showers, very spacious bedrooms, living space... We had our own patio and reserved sunbeds by the beach. The resort is very nice and the coral reef in the lagoon mind blowing. Meals arrangements in two restaurantd are super good. We loved, literally loved, the japanese spot. In the morning 10 choices to pick 2 tapas style and in the night for dinner 10 small plates, high cuisine. Extraordinary. The other restaurant front beach also very nice with music by night. Excursions organised by the resorts to snorkeling and to a cave we loved it. Great, great time, highly recommendable.

The whole stay (3 nights) was amazing! After 8 nights at another island with the kids, we left them with the in-laws and flew over to stay at Koro Sun, we were greeted by our super friendly transfer driver Tuks who was very informative about Savusavu. We arrived at Koro Sun to a welcome drink and intro of the resort thanks Savi (and Im so sorry can not remember the name of the lady who greeted us with the drink), then went on over to settle into our floating bure, it was super amazing, I loved hearing the fish jumping out of the water outside the window, there was a kayak tied to the deck ready to explore the lagoon, the room itself was super comfy! The food was amazing (sorry I cant remember everyones names but Nai you were so kind in the restaurant) I hadnt done much research into our stay, was just happy to eat, relax and book into activities as they became available, so was nicely surprised to have a continental breakfast included each morning! We explored the resort the first morning and went on a guided snorkel out in the lagoon in the afternoon with Andrew, which was perfect for my experience! Went to the Kava ceremony hosted by Rinu (sorry if Im spelling your name wrong) and Manu, the Fijian dance/show and dinner that evening, again all amazing and worth the time! We booked into a couples massage the next morning, wow, listening to the waterfall with a relaxing massage is something else 😍We were told the barrier reef snorkel trip was a must, so we did that next, and it was more than amazing thanks Gina, Caleb and Amos! The waterfall trip was also worth the time, thanks Sam & Dan, we swam through the waterfall to climb the rocks behind and then jump back through the waterfall, so cool! Ended the day with a sunset cruise, again amazing! Thanks to the whole team at Koro Sun, from check in to room service, dining, the rainforest spa, activities and dive shop, you made our Fiji holiday the best time 🥰 Can’t wait to come back!!!

The room is large and comfortable, safe and quiet. The garden landscape is gorgeous. There are birds and frogs; you can feel their protection of the environment, get close to nature, and relax. The meals are delicious, and choosing tomorrow's meals in advance every day does not waste food, but you can always eat what you want - which is very good. The massage is also fantastic :D Although on the island, at least two free activities are arranged daily, the activities are different daily. In addition, there are also paid activities. There is also a shop inside the resort, so you won't be bored after a few days. Most people will participate in scuba diving, which is one of their specialties, especially the shark feeding dive, which is impressive. Definitely, it is worth spending a few days here. However, you have to plan ahead, their dives are every day, but the world-level shark feeding is only Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Resort accommodation and spending are not cheap, but you can feel your money is worth it. The events at the resort always surprise us; we are treated to fresh coconut water and a free ten-minute foot massage. I hope to return and stay more days - 2 nights are too short!

Wonderful stay, incredible reef - must be one of the best snorkelling/diving experiences we’ve ever had. Expect to see +++fish, vivid coral and occasional reef sharks/turtles/octopus. Super welcoming staff, nothing was too much hassle. Plenty of activities on offer, you can’t miss the Mantaray snorkel if visiting at the right time of year. Would be a shame to miss out on this resort if you are visiting the Yasawa!

The island and property is top, probably the best experience I’ve had so far. The staff is helpful and welcoming, we loved every moment of our stay and did not want to leave. Prices are average for Fiji, dinner might be expensive, but we liked it as well.

We stayed at Sheraton Resort & Spa Takariki Island Fiji in early September for 6 nights with my partner. Our room had a garden view and was equipped with everything we needed, though it could use a light renovation. Housekeeping was done daily, with linen changed every three days. Complimentary water was provided at 0.5L per person per day. The resort grounds are absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the ocean and the island, especially from the dining area. The staff were always warm and welcoming. A special thank you to Irene for her hospitality and support, as well as to the recreation team and the chef for the delicious meals, which is impressive considering the challenges of island logistics. Service in the restaurants was slower than we are used to – sometimes lunch took 40 minutes to an hour – but this seems to be the island pace, so patience is needed. The all-inclusive package took us a couple of days to fully understand. Breakfast buffet was included, lunch was à la carte with a choice of two courses, and dinner offered three courses à la carte or buffet (on some days), plus the option of dining at the excellent Indian restaurant, Kukuima, which we highly recommend. The pool was great, and the highlight of our stay was the snorkelling. You can already see fish just off the beach, and if you swim a bit further out to the reef crest, the variety of marine life is amazing. It’s important to go at high tide to avoid damaging corals or getting injured. The resort also carefully manages activities depending on tide, wind, and waves, which we appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful stay with beautiful weather, lots of positive energy, and memorable experiences. We would be very happy to return.

We wanted a homestay run by locals, so we got an authentic experience. No roads, no cars, only walking tracks and hiking trails. Wonderful. They are isolated, so no shop, I would recommend taking sachet coffees etc if you like more than instant. If you get inspired to want to help them (as I was) you could think of taking snorkelling flippers and leaving them there, or packraft paddles (they come apart), or a yoghurt maker and powder packets to make yoghurt. Some books, games, or big maps of Yasawa. We had a week, which was just right....but didn't get to do all the activities we intended to. Too nice being relaxed and even lazy. The ferry ride there is fun and interesting and they supply complimentary transfers to and from accommodation. South Sea Cruises. Apparently there is a supply boat from Lautoka once a week which is much cheaper.

Savusavu is a great location for a peaceful holiday, giving to a more traditional Fijian experience with less resorts on the island. The market is a great for self catering or just absorbing the atmosphere, especially early on Sat when the fish market is there too. The people are very friendly and fun to be around, as you walk down the street you are constantly greeted warmly with Bula! Nateway Bay is mostly untouched and an amazing place to see.

BareFoot Kuata was a fair or probably a bad place to stay.

BareFoot Kuata was a fair or probably a bad place to stay. It is focused on the Backpacker tourist and even for that customer segment I find it expensive for the quality of food and accommodation. Food was not good at all. A typical buffet with the regular stuff and nothing that will impress you. Basic food. Basic coffee. Basic Tea. The staff at the restaurant were just doing their job but they were never friendly or welcoming. The guy that took my luggage to the Bure told me as I arrived how tired he was of working and walking to the most distant Bure which is number 30. More of hinting for a tip. Also he suggested to be approached individually if I wanted a fresh coconut. The facilities were simply all right. There were lounges by the beach that had not seen any proper cleaning or maintenance in a long time so it looks sad and abandonned. The staff at the Dive Shop when being asked for a kayak at 4 pm looked like they were not keen to help as they finish their day at 5 pm. Cleaning could have been better. The hotel lacks greenery other than what is there already, as pathways and common areas could be enhanced and made more beautiful. Once again, if you are into the backpacking world, this could be for you. But if you want a more boutique hotel or intimate experience, then I would go somewhere else. The only reason why I chose it was the snorkeling with the sharks but you can do that as a day visitor.

Gorgeous island - beautiful beaches, coral reef, and the island itself is lovely - you can go on a mountain forest walk as well as be on the beach. As a large family group of 2 grandparents, 6 adult children and 3 grandkids, the resort was excellent and catered for all ages. A great selection of 4 pools, beautiful beach, 2 superb restaurants and a large buffet restaurant, plus other eateries. Various shops and bars. Night time entertainment, fire dancers were excellent, grandson amazed that "he ate fire"! Water sport activities, catamaran, kayaks, jumping inflatable. Relaxing spa, 9 hole golf course with Plantation island golf balls so they're all the same! Boats available for a quick trip to Cloudbreak and other surf breaks. Cloud 9 floating bar. Fantastic accommodation and food (Sheraton).

Fantastic accommodation and food (Sheraton). Weather was perfect in June - consistently between 24-28 deg! Water temp was 27deg - no rasher needed. Very relaxing. Note a couple of things - extra activities were super expensive. Food generally quite expensive (but good) - we stayed at Sheraton - very nice - but no 'cheaper' food options (e.g. ~$20-30Aus for an entree). Highly suggest paying for the buffet breakfast - amazing! (never seen so many options!).
