The room had everything you wish for. Very clean and a beautiful view to the mountains. The hotel has a relaxing lounge and garden where you can just enjoying the surroundings or make friends with other guests. We were lucky to have the Tour De France going through town. The town itself has plenty of restaurants, shops and great for hiking, biking and running The lady at reception gave us a very warm welcome

La Cour Carré is beautifully and tastefully renovated, and perfect for a good night’s sleep, very quiet, with a very comfortable large bed. The owners are very nice and attentive to every need. Dinner is exceptionally delicious with high quality, fresh ingredients and healthy preparation. This was our second stay and we will definitely return when in the area next time.

What a wonderful location! The pictures do not do this place justice, tucked under the imposing Chateau on a hilltop village. The rooms are clean, tastefully furnished and well equipped, and ours had a great view out over the village and the valley. There's masses of parking and a nice shaded terrace for meals as well as an attractive restaurant. The food was excellent, and fantastic value. The owners are charming.

Location is outstanding, we came back here partly because of the views. The staff are always friendly, helpful and polite. We love the charcuterie there. Breakfast was lovely and a great selection. Our room was clean, a proper shower, not a bath and the bed was comfortable. Balcony had amazing views.

The hotel rooms were very clean. Very nice stuff 🤩. I have asked for earlier check in. I got the replay that they can not promise anything but do their best. We have arrived at 13:00 and check in was from 16:00. At the reception we got nicely surprised with the room which was already ready for us❤️

Close to highway, ideal to stay overnight on long trip. Room is clean, service is good and quick. Big plus is that you can park the car right in front of the door of the room. Simple but good breakfast starting early in the morning (around 7AM). The room was in a good temperature.

This city has a bit of a dark foreboding nature about it...

This city has a bit of a dark foreboding nature about it somehow but is full of interesting places and streets and alleys. The old quarter is appealing with hilly streets and mountain backdrops everywhere you look. It’s worth finding the numerous lovely fountains. Especially Fontaine Delille. The Notre Dame church in the centre of the old town is interesting and photogenic and is in a square with good restaurant choices. Lots of Space Invaders on walls, and some graffiti too. We were here November 18-20 and it snowed so we took a drive up to the Puy de Dome and into a winter wonderland. The volcanos with snow on top. There are wide city views from Parc de Montjuzet just above the city.

Vichy is a cute town - good restaurants and shopping, as well as spa-visits. The Ailler - river has nice paths along it and one can walk for miles. There are amazing patisseries with loads of delicious treats. Parking is easy in the city - either in the streets or in one of the many underground parkings - prices are very fair. I felt very safe walking the narrow streets - even in the late evenings. I will visit again.

The medieval centre and Jardin Wilson were lovely and MUPOP very. Interesting.but otherwise there was little to do. Once we hired a car we were able to travel to interesting hiking places. You really need a car unless you are just in Montlucon for a mini break.

Some really good restaurants but you need to book in advance as they all seemed to be busy in the evenings. Parking is quite good in the evenings but takes a bit of time finding a space during the day.

Just across the road from Moulins station, the hotel is simple, spotlessly clean, with lovely staff and great breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Was only sorry that the restaurant was closed on the day I was there.

you need a car to get to this out of town hotel which is easily found off the N145. we stayed to visit nearby Montlecon, which easy to find and not to far away, but again best to have a car. ACE hotel itself is ideal for what we wanted in a short stay B&B. Staff very good priced about right regards value for money, and a continental breakfast included. no complaints from us, i would say its the french equivilent of Travel lodge in the uk if you are looking for a comparison.

Issoire is an ideal overnight stop when travelling from the UK to Spain and vice versa. The A75 from Clermont Ferrand to Beziers is the best road I ever travel on -- relatively quiet, especially at night, lovely scenery and a direct route to the Med. Also, the only toll is on the magnificent Millau Bridge, but that is avoidable by going through the town. Central Issoire, where there is a good choice of accommodation, is only a half mile from Junction 13.

Sorry to say that it took us 30 to 40 mins to check in as the computer was not working I had to press the button for help twice don't want this at check in it was a hot day ant the air conditioning did not work part was broken off any time we go away we always look for b&b hotel not sure anymore
