perfect location , quite and peaceful , very close to Sancerre centre only 5 km drive trough a beautifully vineyard roads , very clean with high end amenities , fresh food , great wine selection the garden is beautifully arranged with flowers and little islands pot of herbs there is a sun-bed to chill in the shade in the afternoon, dinners tables in the garden are lit up in the evening with a candles just perfect evening in the nature ,the host took such a great care of us preparing breakfast every morning and give us water and snack for the road when we left , what a pleasure and great experience with have , highly recommended for a relaxing stay with a very warm welcome from Gusto the dog

The hotel is set in a stunning location allowing its excellent facilities (pool, tennis court, snooker room, table tennis, free bikes to ride) to be used in a tranquil setting - surrounded by countryside. The location is also great for a visit to Chambord, although we did not go. The hotel has been recently renovated, meaning the rooms and facilities were perfect and all very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable and with air con in the room slept very well. The food was very good. We enjoyed a solid breakfast, some free afternoon snacks and juices, and an evening meal at the hotel restaurant.

A stunning romantic getaway. Truly one of the most fantastic hotels I've ever stayed at. It's like travelling in time. Everything from the glassware to the sheets is beyond lovely and luxurious. The staff were the epitome of professional and thoughtful and the service was beyond elegant. There are very few places like this in the world and we are already planning our next stay.

Location: in the city center, easily accessible by car, explored the Loire Valley and the castles by car, drive time to Tours, Orleans, and most castles is under 1 hour. Friendliness: very polite and accommodating. Restaurant: breakfast buffet and Amour blanc restaurant are excellent, Christophe Hay restaurant is exceptionally good, rightly has 2 stars. I would definitely return to this hotel on my next visit.

les tresorieres was a surprising luxury find in tours. the hotel is beautiful, and while the room felt a little 'corporate' it was clean, and had a fabulous modern bathroom with a beautiful tub. the breakfast next morning was generous, delicious, and very well executed. i would return.

Brilliant, really enjoyed it . I have found that 2 star / 3 Star hotels in cities in France are great ways to see the city and are great value. Avoid the chains, give the local hotel a chance, you will be well impressed. I have used Logis a few times and have been extremely happy. I love calm & relaxed, that is what I had here.

Our arrival into the environs of the city concerned us a...

Our arrival into the environs of the city concerned us a little. Lots of High rises, graffitti, and a bit scruffy looking. However, Tours is hiding a little secret at its heart. It is has one of the most beautiful centres at, rich in both architecture and history. It's easy to walk around, but cycling or the tram seems to be the norm for the locals. Sadly we were only staying for one night this time - but it was a Saturday and the medieval streets were literally buzzing with bon viveurs, students, and locals. Definitely a city I would love to explore more.

There are two monuments of must-see quality in Bourges: the cathedral, which is utterly outstanding, and the renaissance palace of Jacques Coeur. The old centre itself is exceedingly fine, rich in medieval, renaissance and eighteenth-century buildings. The gardens by the cathedral are beautiful, there was open-air dancing and a superb free light show through the old town. Bourges should be on everyone's bucket list.

Lovely City with characters and we love the "chartres en lumière" (check when it is on before booking your stay). Lovely restaurant and most of them have a vegetarian options (which is rare in France)

Blois is the perfect town to stay overnight to visit Val de Loire. The most urban town in the region making other chateaux such as Amboise, Chenonceau and Chambord easily accessible by train (or bus for Chambord). When you are done visiting other chateaux by day, plenty of options for wining & dining & relaxing at the center of town.

This was an overnight stop on our way back to the ferry port...

This was an overnight stop on our way back to the ferry port near Caen, so more of a functional one than a sightseeing one, though we did head to the château at Villandry after leaving, which was only about 25 minutes' drive via the scenic route through Savonnières. There was a choice of decent restaurants in easy walking distance for dinner and breakfast was fine. The room was very hot when we arrived and the aircon not working but the lad on the desk explained that it can either be set to cool or to heat for the whole building and the weather suddenly changing from cool to hot had left the 'wrong' option enabled. We were able to cool it down by opening the door and window but that did admit quite a lot of traffic noise.

I needed to find a bed without any dinner or other facilities late in the day and only for the night as would be moving on early the next day. Therefore cost was the primary concern. It was cheap and the bed comfortable, though the room noisy when other guests were moving around the building or noisy in their rooms. Don't take breakfast option, it was poor value and not as you might expect when at reception. Behind reception is a pleasant looking restaurant, however breakfast for this hotel is in a side room which is not so pleasant and with not a great selection of food and drink. Check in staff did not make this clear when option offered at check in.

Unfortunately we turned up Early evening on Sunday, every thing in france is pretty much shut There is a “Buffalo Grill “ very near the property, but on previous occasions visiting this restaurant chain . we have received a shocking service and substandard food. A lovely town which is easy to walk around, no steep hills. A good choice of bars and restaurants. The bars offer the choice in the evenings to enjoy a quiet drink or join in with a lively atmosphere at a bar around a pretty square.

This is a really charming and lovely town with much to...

This is a really charming and lovely town with much to recommend it, but for me it was the museum...while small it has some exquisite treasures. I went to Dreux to see the four Romanesque capitals in the museum collection and they did not disappoint! And there were some other unexpected surprises there, too. Highly recommend a visit to Dreux.
