Modern and spacious room, excellent breakfast, very friendly host. We arrived late, too late for dinner at the property (it stops serving quite early), but we were offered that a meal could be prepared and left in the fridge for us to warm up. We preferred to stop on the way, but it was nice to have to option.

The staff was very friendly, no matter the French/English language differences. This place felt like an authentic road house, the opposite of pretentious. The restaurant for dinner was excellent (not fancy, but good) and the breakfast the same. We appreciated being able to stash our bicycles (How we travel) in an unused dining room.

We loved the authentic end of 19th century decoration and setting and above all the warm welcoming attitude of the Cook who received us this summer in the absence of other staff and made us feel really at home.He prepared a beautiful breakfast and every 10 minutes he was sincerely trying to see if we were not missing anything and if there was more he could do to make the breakfast enjoyable. The hotel's setting I'd recommend to any film makers looking for authentic western movie style place.

We loved the bathtub. Staff was exceptional.
