Location was great between easy parking and the central parts of St Emilion. Nearby restaurants and wine bars. Actually had the best meal of our trip at Chai Pascal, where the duck confit was simply fabulous. The room came with a living area, kitchen and bathroom. All clean and comfortable with enough utensils and appliances to spend several days and keep food costs down. Breakfast was the usual European fare: yogurt, juice, cheese meat, but what was special was the fresh bread delivered in the early morning! We warned the hosts about my celiac wife and they found her her own bread to go with breakfast. Great place! Merci beaucoup.

We are traveling from the U. S. We found La Maison Colline at the last minute. We were not disappointed. Our Host, Blasé, was very welcoming. He was informative regarding the town, and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. Upon our departure, Blasé suggested a great location to visit for our drive back to Saint Jean de Luz. When we return to Saint Emilio, Maison Colline will be our first choice. Thank you Blasé for the hospitality!!

I did like Everything and I am unbiased. Upon my arrival, I met 2 amazing owners who welcomed my family with so much hospitality. Great welcoming, helpful information about the surroundings, outstanding decoration, soft bedsheets, comfortable mattress, excellent breakfast (local and fresh food items), and peaceful environment within the vineyard. ps: Great red wine recommendation to drink by the pool. thank you guys and see you soon

We are grateful for the quiet and graceful accommodation of Château Franc Mayne. The garden was the perfect place for respite, the breakfast lovely and fulfilling, and the winery tour absolutely magical. Being able to enjoy with our dogs was even more wonderful!

Such a cool little place with lots of history- and wine... Great restaurants. Town is small enough you can easily walk around the whole town. Some streets are very uneven (very old) and a few short hills.

Very pretty town with cobblestone streets which are a killer...

Very pretty town with cobblestone streets which are a killer on the feet so be prepared with good walking streets. Lunch - La Terrace Rouge - located at La Dominique winery - perfect. Reasonably priced and food presented beautifully Dinner - La Table 38 - in the centre of Saint Emillion - great little spot and the guy who served us spoke perfect English. Very well priced and food was very good Lunch - Le Caffe Cuisine- located in Branne- bistro - full of atmosphere and busy. Great spot out of town. Well priced. Winery - chateau La Grande Clotte - located in Lussac - shown around the vineyard and tasted 4 wines all free of charge. Julie and Mathieu are a young couple who have renovated the property and run the business by themselves. Had one hour there by appointment and really enjoyed the chat. Very informal and we were the only ones there. Perfect. We spent 2 days at Saint-Emillion and felt this was enough. Maybe one extra day but definitely we wouldn’t have wanted more. To visit the wineries you need to book in advance. As we are going to be in the area for another 2 weeks our main reason for being there was to enjoy the town itself.
