Breakfast: choice of eggs/bacon/sausage etc with cereals/yoghurts, pot of fresh Summer fruits/ eggs on toast with avocado, smoked salmon...Owner/restaurant manager made you feel that they genuinely wanted to make your stay exceptional. Room was large with sitting area and view of the (very lovely) countryside. Very comfortable bed. Everything we ate in the restaurant was delicious (a choice of seafood/fish, meat (lamb, beef), various vegetarian dishes, tasty not bland, wonderful desserts. Everyone who worked there was, without exception, smiling, attentive and courteous.

From the moment we arrived the staff could t have been more helpful. From check in to booking dinner and having my brother and sister in law join us as non residents for breakfast. The room was lovely overlooking the Main Street and the bed (although quite creaky and spongy🥴) was very comfy.

The room is cosy, overlooking the beach which is calming (although that day extremely windy). The hotel looks rustic with beautiful decor inside the room and exterior (hallway, dining area)

The Valley Hotel was clean and comfortable. Plenty of space in the car-park and we were offered a choice of parking for our motorbikes. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. Highly recommended - we will certainly visit again. Thank you!

The location and hotel is beautiful but what really makes this an exceptional resort is the staff and customer service. We were made to feel very welcome, the staff were so accommodating. Shout out to Lisa who went above and beyond to help and settle our family group.

The room was exactly as I had seen on the site, comfortable and clean with lovely views of the strait and bridge. Perfect location for investigating the local area and a good setting off point to tour the east of the island.
