The room was clean and comfortable and very quiet despite its location on a busy road. The breakfast was very good, freshly cooked and lots of choice. We had dinner in the restaurant which was also good. I cannot fault the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful and ready to go the extra mile to make our stay special. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.

We got a very cozy and well thought out room with a large king bed that was very comfortable and another separate bed for my son of a good length. It was a great location. Five minutes walk to the train station and Harry Potter studios shuttle, and ten minutes on the other side to a large shopping center. We also enjoyed the breakfast at the Holiday Inn, nice selection and not expensive.

I know Stevenage of old and have been in the area many times over the years. Excellent facilities and very well sign-posted as to where you need to be. The night life is also very good. The Old Town is a wonder and worth a visit. I travel just over an hour to be in Stevenage and make the most of it.

If you and your partner want to have a drink at the bar and forever be waiting for a member of staff to not be available, pay daft prices for a drink, sleep on 2 singles pushed up beds pushed up together when you pay for a double bed, get woken up by a knock on the door for housekeeping then pay £114 for a night all yours. Just don’t look at the pictures of the hotel you probably won’t even see half of it when you turn up. They use that for events otherwise your room is the other side of the building to see the rest. The rooms are just standard too nothing special.

Stayed for one night. The hotel is at the side of the A1 southbound but if you are going northbound there is an exit just up the road to go south. The hotel is far enough away from the road so you don't get too much road noise. The rooms are roomy and comfortable.
