It situated right on the beach. 2 big swimming pools, 2 for babies. It has a beautiful garden with lots of palm trees and many kind of flowers, bushes. Great animation team. Lots of activities during the day and the evening. The sea is rocky, swimming shoes needed. Great variety of foods in the main reastaurant and the tavern next to the big swimming pool. At arrival a plate of fruits, a bottle of wine and water provided by the hotel. Every day one bottle of water in the room provided by the hotel. Safe box on the is free of charge.

I spent a few days. A very clear room, the staff from my - you are excellent. One lady from reception - from the bottom of my heart thank you. The view from restaurant is amazing. I take my breakfast every morning on the balcony with the sun in my face. The option for breakfast are for everyone. From meat, fruits, vegetables and a big variety of tea. Please see the pictures. From my balcony see every day the history, the see, the sun and normal life was very good.

We want to thank the staff for the executive suite we received, there is an extraordinary view of the Venetian Port with a huge terrace. The same staff was very helpful in solving small issues that could have ruined our trip (in the evening, when almost all auto garages close, we needed one to solve a flat tyre).

The food was fantastic and the attention to my wife's allergies by the maitre'd and the chef made everything even better. The staff all around was fantastic and the grounds and access to the beach and multiple pools made it so we never felt the need to leave. We are already planning on coming back next year

Difficult to judge because we came early in the season when there was a cold wind blowing and not all the places were open. However, there didn't seem to be many places to eat [not a problem for us as there was one excellent place, though would be a problem peak season] . There were a number of apparently abandoned and ill-maintained buildings, which made the place appear less attractive.

It was about a ten minutes walk uphill part way to Koutouloufari, loads of restaurants and bars, a fabulous experience. Walk a little further and you come to Piscopiano, also excellent. Walk down the hill and you come to restaurants with Greek dancing and plate smashing, also excellent.

Stalis is perfect for all ages and families.

Stalis is perfect for all ages and families. If you want partying then Malia is far enough down the road to go to and it doesn't overspill to Stalis. We ate in a different restaurant each night of our 7 night stay. It has something for everyone and great choices of food. We will return next year for sure. It has everything :)

The people are very friendly and most speak or can communicate in several European languages. The city is clean (no litter !!) and the food a and drink is excellent Culturally - this is superb - if ancient history and tall tales of greek mythology are of interest - the museums are well laid out and tourist groups "directed" One significant and pleasant item is that if you are an EU resident and 65 plus you get reduced entry fees into the national museums and attractions ( ID needed)

Ease of access to tavernas and beach. Shops offering a much larger choice than expected. Plenty of sunbeds and beach seating. Very friendly taverna staff offering good food. Other places to visit within a short drive. Easy drive from Heraklion. Overall a very relaxed place to stay with everyth8ng needed available.

I came here for special purpose, to watch basketball U20...

I came here for special purpose, to watch basketball U20 European Championship. For that reason i was traveling by bus to Duo Aorakia and University Sports Center. Don't have so much time to explore the city. When free, enjoy Amoudara beach.

Very central location with easy access to the center of...

Very central location with easy access to the center of Heraklion (approx. 5-10 min walk). Very accessible also to the free municipal parking (10 minutes). In addition, be careful of parking right near the stay, there is no parking allowed, so there is a risk of a ticket. You also have a bus station 1 min walk from the entrance door. The neighborhood is very safe at night, no problems whatsoever.

Too far from beach to walk and hilly unsurfaced paths not suitable for all. Local grocers pharmacy and bakery 500 to 1000m walk. This is not a holiday resort area. Own transport essential. Local residents friendly and helpful.
