The hotel is situated practically on the beautiful beach, separated only by a pretty-looking, well-maintained garden. The room is spacious, comfortable and very clean, and have a fantastic view over the Sea at any time of day, but especially at the Sunset. Fresh and tasty breakfast, beautiful beach with lounge chairs and shades, grreat food at the nearby Taverna. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. We hope to return soon! Also, if you are lucky (and quiet!) like we were, and you enjoy walks on the beach at night, you might encounter Loggerhead Turtles (Caretta caretta) out on the shore nesting, as the place is a well-known Conservation Area for this endangered species. A wonderful experience!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the studio apartment overlooking the beach and the sea. Just being able to enjoy the sunset from the terrace with a glass of wine every evening was worth every penny. It was also practical to be able to cook our own meals whenever we wanted. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with everything. Highly recommended!

We were greeted by a wonderful and friendly elderly lady who showed us the property - it was an enormous studio with a kitchenette and a balcony. New and nicely furnished, it had everything we needed. For the given price it felt even a bit overwhelming :) The beach is easily reachable by foot, just 2-3 minutes away. It was nearly empty and had perfect sand and showers to rinse off. A lot of parking space.

Olympia is a small village where everything is within...

Olympia is a small village where everything is within walking distance: the sights, restaurants, and charming souvenir shops. The archaeological site was great to visit—impressive to walk on the very grounds where the first Olympic Games were held!

Great location, if you have a car, to get to Olympia. Lovely town square with great selection of restaurants to eat at - mainly Italian themed as opposed to Greek. Beaches are not well advertised as to where to park near to them. Suggest 2 day stay - one day Olympia and one day beach.

We were on a "pilgrammage" of sorts intended to seek out our...

We were on a "pilgrammage" of sorts intended to seek out our familial origins and were travelling by a rented vehicle from Eurocar which we picked up at the Athens Airport. This was a major winner for us! Take your GPS with you and enjoy the encredibly well organized motor ways that would best be described as excellent in every way. Kyllini was easy to find just off the West Coast and in good striking distance for other sites. It is a port city, really, with Ferry traffic to the Islands which could have made it noisy and unpleasant. However, such was not the case with super restaurant facilities and the Greek Pastries in the local shops were simply scrumptious. Have fun!

It’s a very remote town.

It’s a very remote town. A very long and tiring drive to get there, and not much to visit. The town is just average and all the restaurants were closed in April. Nice scenery and very nice people. It’ll probably be more appealing in summer when is hot down the mountains and all the restaurants and coffee shops are open.

Zacharo is really, really Greek and there seemed to be absolutely nothing happening. I figure you have three alternatives to fill your time: swim or stare at the sea during the day, sit at a cafe and gossip at night, or get through War & Peace.

The best is the cleanness...so professional and safe feeling to me! Of course the amazing antique building and beautiful decoration in the room is so nice to discover! The bed is just a wonder! The Good smell of the towel is so classic style!

Katakolon is the main port for cruise liners where guests are visiting Olympia and seems geared up largely for this purpose. It is quite a pleasant seaside town but nothing exceptional. When we were there there were no cruise ships in port and it was very quiet. All of the seafront restaurants and bars were open so we had our pick, but a lot of the shops were close for most of the time we were there. Olympia is about a 30 minute drive from here.

It is located close to the Temple of Apollo Epikourios...

It is located close to the Temple of Apollo Epikourios which is well worth a visit. The village of Andritsaina itself has a neglected air about it despite its springs and friendly villagers as well as beautiful location. We walked everywhere and the food at Petrino, the taverna in which we ate was good.
