Everything was really nice and well set up—from the entrance gate all the way to the room. Everything is kid-friendly. Our daughter loved the lion-shaped room key card! They even provide bathrobes for the little ones. In the restaurant area, there’s also a special section just for kids. The water park and play area were super fun, even for adults. We visited in April, so the warm pool water was a big plus. The spa for adults was great too.

I stopped there only for one night on the way from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Poland to see Balaton. The lake wasn't worth but the hotel is nice - the pool was much better than the lake🙂 AC was really good in the heat, room has a balcony so one can chill outside also. The reception is really open till 19:00 as stated in booking, so rather no chance for late check in if you don't ask for it in advance. Big park lot, close to the lake (10-15 min walk)

We got the penthouse and it is amazing. The SPA was great and the restaurants are very good, we had dinner and breakfast. 10 minutes after we left, we got a call from the hotel saying they found a swimsuit in the room, and we came back to take it.

I had an amazing experience during my stay! Before arriving, I had seen some mixed reviews, so I was a bit nervous—but everything turned out to be wonderful. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. As someone who runs a cleaning company and works with hotels, I naturally notice every detail of cleanliness (even when I try not to think about work!). From a professional point of view, I can confidently say that the housekeeping team did an excellent job—everything was perfectly maintained. The public areas were also very clean and well-kept, which really adds to the pleasant atmosphere of the hotel. I’d also like to mention the receptionist—she was kind, always smiling, and spoke English very well, which made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. The breakfast and dinner were fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options, and I truly enjoyed spending time at the swimming pool too. A big thank-you to everyone working there for their professionalism and kindness. My stay was wonderful, and I’ll definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back!

The hotel location is great for being close to the main street but still far from the noise. The room was in excellent condition. Sparkling clean bathroom and well maintained furniture. There is a mosquito net on the balcony. There are car spots for short stop in front of the entrance. The parking area is on 5 minutes of walk with many trees to keep it in shade. I highly recommend the breakfast. There are plenty of options including diet. Everything tastes very well. There is a dedicated access to the lake for hotel guests.

Very central location. Main hotel areas are very modern and recently refurbished. Spa is amazing with multiple saunas and pools of different temperatures. There is a nice private beach too. Breakfast and dinner have limited offer, but are relatively healthy compared to rest around Balaton - though it would be nice to have few more healthy salads or similar options.

It's a nice place where you can spend a great holiday.

It's a nice place where you can spend a great holiday. You have a lot of bike lanes to ride on. The lake is usually nice but sometimes it can be really muddy. A lot of restaurants so you surely can find something to eat. Overall a great place to be during summer and autumn.

Beautiful city, so much to see and visited.Many good restaurants even for sort walk from the accommodation. People are very friendly and helpful if u needs. Taxi is cheap enough to get around. Food and snacks are available everywhere and is affordable .

Nice and serene place by the lake. A couple of restaurants by the lake, which was nice. People there don't speak english, but most know german. Traffic by the main road was pretty high, which made crossing quite a challange. Most of the shore is taken by private properties.

Szantod is easily accessed from Budapest by train. From Szantod there is a ferry to Tihany, but stay in Szantod is much cheaper. The food in St. Christopher restaurant is excellent, there are many shops, icecream places in Szantod, but for a good 'langos', you need to go to the neighbouring villages. They can be reached by buses easily and with regular connection it is easy to get around.

Fonyód was reasonably clean and pleasant town. In places quite smelly, some houses need a bit of love and well kept houses have wildly diverse architecture, but generally the town feels safe and offers a lot of restarurants, ferry service, some water attractions and playgrounds for kids. Be aware though, very very few people (even young) speak foreign language there. What a difference in comparison to Györ in the North of Hungary, where everyone we met in the public areas spoke either English or German on a reasonable level. People are neither unfriendly, nor friendly; I fell like they just don't care about foreign tourists and mostly avoid communication due to a language barrier.

Fantastic place to spend your holiday. The city developed a lot lately so it can offer you numerous opportunity for enjoy yourself there. The beach, the winestreet, the lookout tower and its enviroment are all beautiful and give real entertainment.

Great for family vacation to visit the area and enjoy the lakeside for 3-5 days. You can spend half days visiting area and half days at the beach. Lake is shallow (1,2m deep) for over 150m from shore. Grass beach is excellent for games and relaxing. Restaurants and shops on the beach. You can easily discover the Balaton Lake area from here. There is a view tower with lake museum 12 min drive away. It also has a nice playground for kids. Ferry crossing to Tihany peninsula can be reached by ferry which is 25min from the village. Nice experience for children. Tihany village is beautiful, with nice view over lake. Excellent restaurant for lunch. Szigligeti Castle is about 1h20mim drive away. Great ruin to visit with children. Steep climb, interesting explanations on the history of the region and castle. At the bottom of the castle is the best ice cream shop of all the lake area :).

Igal has a great Thermal bath the main reason for staying there. It is an easy to drive to Mernye (for the musical road) Kaposvar, The Balaton, Nagybajom (the Stork village) for a visit. Pecs is also just possible for a day trip.

Nice city, definitely suitable for a holiday. The center near the port is beautiful, well-kept. Around the road to the port there are many options to satisfy your thirst and hunger. There is also a smaller zoo, which is not large in size, but is largely contact-based, so it is an experience for children.
