The staff was very kind they went great lengths to help us in our every request. The hotel is brand new and really stylish. A great plus in Asia that gluten free breakfast was available. Please note that the breakfast is not buffet style, but you can choose from 10+ varieties, the portions are huge and they even bring it to your room.

Terra Cottages Bali absolutely hit the ball out of the park for our final stay in Bali - we truly wished we booked this lovely spot for more nights. The rooms were immaculate - the most comfortable beds and the most amazing smell!!! The food was AMAZING! As we did not stay as long as we wished - we were limited with how many meals we could have here, but the Gnocchi was something else - melt in your mouth perfection! And to top this all off - the staff (much like most of the Balinese folk) were beyond kind and welcoming. Thank you thank you thank you Terra Cottages - we cannot wait to return! Neely & Cody :)

Everything was absolutely amazing, starting with the people who were so welcoming. The pool is stunning as promised with breathtaking views of the jungle. The breakfast is one of the best we have had (ever) with fresh products including home made sourdough selections and plenty of choices for everyone. We also went on one of the excursion planned by the hotel, both the driver and the guide were amazing and we had a fantastic time despite of the rain. They have an animal garden where the kids can feed the goats and cows. They also have times during the day were the kids can feed the hundred Coi carps. The SPA is also gorgeous with very nice treatment options.

I am a slow traveler off the beaten track and thought it will be nice to meet other travelers after not seeing any for months. But the traffic, the hardly walkable footpaths, the noisy cafes and the bad air didn’t really make up for the social experience. If you don’t like spicy hot foods and still want tasty Indonesian food, this is for you, so many things adapted to western tourism. But if you search for a more peaceful atmosphere, it may be better to go to a smaller place and enjoy the locals there.

Seminyak is a typical Bali tourist location, full of the usual tourist traps but with plenty of dining and shopping options. La Lucciola and the Happy Chappy Chinese Restaurant are a must whenever we visit. Seminyak is also a short drive from the airport. In general, it is a good location for a family holiday, although perhaps not for those with smaller children.

Interesting very surf orientated town. Road planning unfortunately very bad. Very difficult to get around. Good restaurants, night spots, retail outlets. Mighty beach. Good Aston pool upstairs. Colourful and vibrant, lots of energy.

Uluwatu is beautiful, all the beaches and modern restaurants, bars and cafe's lean more towards the coastal side, it's very easy to get around here with lots of Grab/GoJek bikes and cars driving around often, never waited more than 4 minutes for a ride. Walking around would be easy too, the sidewalks aren't too difficult however the humps and hills of the roads are definitely a workout in the hot sun. Lots of construction in Uluwatu, the streets are noisy, lots of trucks and drilling everywhere.

Kopi Kiosk was a 5minute walk away down Jasmin Gang/lane. Hardies supermarket was next door to the Kiosk for grocery supplies and souvenirs and clothing. I always recommend Sanur to people heading to Bali for a first trip or tenth trip.

I love Legian , Have been going reguarly for last few years , I wish the locals took more pride in the city though , always rubbish everywhere sadly . but beautiful people and great service at most bars and restaurants

Nusa Dua is perfect for a relaxing beach holiday. It does lack the vibrancy and hustle and bustle of other spots in Bali but as an older couple who just needed to wind down after a busy year, it was petfect.

Nusa Penida is a wild island, there are stunning views and beaches. It is not easy to wonder around. Roads are bad and it is not the best if you are not an expert with the scouter, in that case you will need to use the local drivers. I suggest Crystal Bay, and Klingking Beach (for sure). If you got to do the snorkeling with the Manta Rays go early, later it is really crowded. Consider that it takes long time to go in the main point of interests.

The beach was very disappointing, we were there in August...

The beach was very disappointing, we were there in August 2023 and I don't remember the beach being so dirty with rubbish as it was this week. The amount of litter was out of control - definitely will only be a 1 night stay close to airport from now on.
