There wasn't anything to dislike. Friendly family owned, spacious room, air con, hot water, great food, on site shop and the best coffee in sumatra.

Firstly the host family are unbelievably welcoming and helpful- nothing felt like too much to ask. The location is perfect, we both were learning to surf, and could just walk out right to the waves (people travelled to this bay to learn, where you can just walk out here)

The swimming pool is very clean because it manages very well, and room clean service is available upon request in advance. The staff and the owner are all kind. The way from the accommodation to the point is also close. I'm willing to revisit.

Staff super helpful. Great accommodation and help with getting food. 5 mins drive from airport. We arrived at 12.00 and asked the owner what we could do in the afternoon. Within an hour we were trekking to remote farm, eating freshly caught fish, visiting traditional village houses and swimming under a waterfall. The guide was excellent.

HIMA bungalows was some of most luxurious accommodation at Sorake beach. With views of the wave and river frontage, you can walk straight out from the infinity pool to the foreshore and walk up to the wave. Perfect for couples, great bathroom. The host family are super hospitable.
