A wonderful location on the eastern shore of the Sea of Galilee. We stayed in one of the cabins with a direct view of the Sea. The room was spacious and comfortable. There even was a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates waiting for us (too bad we're teetotalers). While En Gev is not the center of the universe, we were able to take most enjoyable day trips south as far as Bet Shean and north to the Golan Heights. In addition, they recommended an excellent fish restaurant on the shore at the nearby kibbutz for dinner. The breakfast spread was unbelievable.

We had a wonderful stay at the Caesar Premier Tiberias hotel. We stayed for four days, and the absolute highlight of the hotel was its very friendly and professional staff, especially at the reception desk, who went above and beyond in their effort to make our stay as pleasant and welcoming as possible! We received a room upgrade at check-in, and were offered a free dinner on a night of our choice. Also, on the day of check-out, we could stay in our room the entire day, using all the facilities, including the lovely indoor and outdoor swimming pools overlooking the Lake of Galilee and the palm tree lined promenade. The hotel has an excellent location right on the Lake of Galilee, and our room had a beautiful view from the balcony. There were several nice restaurants in close proximity to the hotel. The hotel breakfasts were nice, and the dinner and breakfast for Passover were simply amazing! Both the variety and the quality of food at Passover were outstanding, it seemed like a Horn of Plenty has opened over the restaurant. Overall we would highly recommend the Caesar Premier Tiberias hotel for a holiday stay at the Lake of Galilee.

Amazing location right on the Kineret. The hotel is aesthetically beautifully designed. Great facilities, which besides the Kineret itself include a beautiful in ground pool complex with a separate in ground kiddie pool and water park area; an inside small gymboree and play area for kids, lots of room to run around, beautiful wide grounds with gorgeous plants and greenery, and very nice playgrounds for the kids, on ground. There is also a spa and massages which we didn't get. Generous, tasty, and varied buffet meals. Every hotel room has a porch attached with a view of the Kineret.

This is a happening place, with a large variety of restaurants, sightseeing and activities. Best to stay at a nice seafront hotel. Do not skimp on good accommodations. We were there for business, so our choice of hotel was not optimal. Next time, I'll stay at a tourist luxury hotel, even if I am not there as a tourist. Shopping mall, late night vibe, historical architecture, boardwalk, watersports, and lots and lots of people!

The Moshav is situated in an excellent and scenic location...

The Moshav is situated in an excellent and scenic location above the Sea of Galilee. Perfect location for touring the Upper Galilee panhandle and the Golan Heights. There are two convenience stores, a small food-truck cafe, and two excellent restaurants in the Moshav. Many friendly home-owners have B&B cabins. I loved my Pundak Ramot studio cabin.

I am not reviewing Midgal (the name of the city), but the Magdala Hotel which is located in Migdal. It is the Magdala experience (the ancient town, archeological site, and spiritual center) that you will be experiencing in Migdal. Following this, one can explore nearby Holy Land sites on the Sea of Galilee.

For us it was the ideal place for cycling in the area.

For us it was the ideal place for cycling in the area. You can do climbs to the Golan Heights, visit the Druze villages in the area, etc. You can also circle the Sea of Galilee for a flatter experience, spend time in Tiberias, etc. Many restaurants within a 30 minute drive. We enjoyed a dinner in Tanureen (recommended).

Fantastic stay at a great hotel.

Fantastic stay at a great hotel. Both the hotel and staff were perfect. Highly recommended for both individuals and groups. Extremely clean and well kept grounds. A superb stay in a natural beautiful environment.

We booked the room to celebrate our son's birthday.

We booked the room to celebrate our son's birthday. The location looked nothing like the pictures - false advertising. The outside facilities looked unmaintained. No hanging drapes above the communal cooking area, no pillows outside, the hammock was filthy. Since we came from the city we were excited for the large green yard accessible from our room as shown in the property pictures. No exit door, no lush green backyard and no sitting area. Again... fooled by the pictures. Very disappointed. Luckkly we had a dog with us to chase away the 10 cats living on the property. To add to our disappointment the room inside was dirty including dust blowing on us from the air conditioning vents, dirty sheets, and kitchen shelves were full of dust. Seems like the property had not been cleaned for weeks. Also no batterie in the TV remote so could not watch any TV. Would not recommend. Horribe value for the money.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay. We didn't want to leave. Great location, waking up to see the Sea of Galillee. The apartment had everything you would need for a stay. Soap, towels etc, all was provided. Very lovely place and would recommend it very highly.

I loved the privacy of the unit.

I loved the privacy of the unit. It was completely separate from all other units so it felt like I had a place all by myself. It was super clean, super comfortable, and had everything I needed (except maybe milk). I didn't order breakfast though it looked good in pictures.

The best anchor point in the north from where you can conveniently visit many interesting locations in the Galilee and the Golan Heights. Public transport will take you to your chosen point in Gallilea and Around Lake Kinneret very conveniently and inexpensively. Just download the Moovit app and buy a universal Rav Kav card for travel on buses and trains in Israel. Or download the app. If you want to rent a car, then it's easy and affordable in Tiberias.
